INCARCERATION

Are we anyway different from caged animals?

Unfortunately we think we are unique.

White

FOR THE LOVE OF WHITE

White-Flower

“White is the most wonderful color because within it you can see all the colors of rainbow.

For me, in fact, it is the color which in natural light, reflects and intensifies the perception of all of the shades of rainbow, the colors which are constantly changing in nature, for the whiteness of white is just never white;

It’s almost always transformed by light and that which is changing: the sky, the clouds, the sun and the moon!

Cozy

Hammock

“In a hammock, a nice breeze reminds us of why we’re so in love with this life” Mehmet Murat ildan

Cosy vs Cozy

‘Cosy’ is British English and ‘Cozy’ is American English.

Both mean the same.

Cambridge Dictionary says- comfortable, pleasant, inviting or warm

Do you love relaxing in a hammock?

What about hammock camping?

Have you ever slept in a hammock?

My friend, hammocks are relaxing and the experience one gets is a pleasant one.

Its gentle rocking motion helps you to forget your worries and the body goes into relaxation mode and the nice breeze encourages you to go into a deep sleep.

If you happen to be a book lover- I promise you are in Heaven

I need not elaborate further.

Do you remember your baby days?

You may not remember, but I tell you how you felt.

As you were rocked gently in the cradle, you stopped crying, initially, you started smiling and later giggling soon you forgot yourself and entered your world in deep sleep thus allowing your parents to attend their work.

Hammock experience is no different

Hammock rocks you gently to and fro with their soft fabric helping in supporting your body to relax and soon you forget yourself.

“Happiness is watching the sky from Hammock” Unknown

Woman & Hammock

“Some woman want diamonds…Others just want a hammock, a campfire, some peace and quiet” Unknown

Trivia

You will be interested to know that there is a  National Hammock Day, celebrated on 22nd July annually.

My dream

“Lying aimlessly on a hammock gives me a feeling that I am a small baby again with no chores to do…” Unknown

Feather

“Coexistence: what the farmer does with the turkey – until Thanksgiving” Mike Connolly

Are you aware of the tale of two poops?

A turkeys gender can be determined by its droppings. Males produce J shaped poops and females poop is Spiral shaped.

Other facts

  • Baby turkeys are called poults
  • The turkey is named after the country ‘Turkey’ but still, some confusion exists.
  • Only Male turkeys ‘gobble’
  • Turkeys eat stones for digestion
  • They roost in trees
  • Only two birds have prominent snoods, Wild turkey and ocellated turkey. (The snood is an erectile fleshy protuberance on the forehead of turkeys and can extend beyond the tip of the beak)
  • An adult turkey has 5000-6000 feathers
  • Turkeys can attack humans. Be warned they are not as gentle as you think

What is the feather in our life?

“Hope is the feather that reminds us we have wings”  Unknown
