There are two types of “tired”,I suppose.One is a dire need of Sleep,the other is dire need of Peace

One is ‘physical tiredness’ & and the other is ‘mental tiredness’.

If it is ‘Physical tiredness’ …easy to recover.Just take good rest.

But if the tiredness is because of Mental stress,how are you going to recover ?

Can you give mental peace a chance ? Is it possible ?

It’s easier said than done.

But time is the greatest healer.That is what they say.

Are we not  just finding an escape route just by uttering this ??

There is one phrase which is amazing in sense,one can use it in ‘bad times’ and it makes one happy and the same phrase if used in ‘good times’ it makes one sad.

“This time (moment/situation) will also go away”

A hair-raising tale

This is 3.6 minute read and it’s about Health.

No no no….I am not telling that kind of hair-raising tale.

My tale is really related to true hair.

The patient should be made to understand that he or she must take charge of his/her own life.Don’t take your body to the doctor as if he were the repair shop.  ‘Quntin Regestein’

All of us know that the persons well-being and health depends on our personal hygiene.

But then most of us are not aware of many aspects of personal hygiene,Most of us are not even aware of the dirtiest parts of the human body.Here I am giving the areas of human body which requires good hygiene

Starting from head to toe

1.Scalp.2.Eyelashes.3.Ears.4..Mouth5.Tongue.6.Nasal cavity .7.Armpits 8.Belly button.9.Anus. 10.Groinfolds & creases.12.Hands.13.Underneath part of foreskin of penis.14.Vagina15.feet.16.Breast folds.

Though some  of us are aware the importance of hygiene of all these areas,there is another part of the body,which is totally forgotten.

This is back of the body along with the Butt crack ( Ass crack ),medically known as Inter gluteal Cleft or Natal Cleft.

Butt crack is nothing but the groove between buttocks.

Why Hygiene of Butt crack important ?

This area is prone to a condition medically known as Pilonidal Sinus,a small hole or tunnel in the skin.

But crack being a pit,naturally source of collection of dirt, and it is in the form of hairs,favouring the germs multiplication.

How hair  can accumulate ?

Hairs start  accumulates mainly in the form of shred hairs.These hairs broken off by the friction against clothing.On sitting the buttocks takes the weight of the body and improper posture & sedentary life style results in shredding of the hairs.The accumulated hair invade the skin and cause a small lump initially.

What are the predisposing causes ?

With increase amount of time people spend in sitting,bad designs of chairs,obesity,drivers sitting for long hours and driving the vehicle,,hairy bodies etc predisposes to this condition.

Earlier this condition was more common among jeep riders, was nick named           ‘Jeep Bottom ‘

From where do the shredded hairs come from ?

1.The back of the body ( hairy body ),2. buttocks. 3.Use of toilet paper contributing to the hair entangled in fecal matter being swept into the cleft,by to & fro movements.

Ok.What happens now ?

Ingrowth of Of shredded hairs into the skin causing a small lump initially,which starts discharging foul-smelling fluid along with severe pain and one may find difficult to even sit..Of course I am not going further into the details.

How to prevent ?

1.Wash the area(pit)with soap & water daily.2.Reduce the pressure and be gently while washing this area,this is to prevent further shredding of hair.3.If you have a sedentary life style,try to walk in between.4.If you are obese nothing like reducing the weight.5. wear loose cloths.6.Use the properly designed chairs.and & 7.Most importantly remove the unwanted hair.

Have you studied the facial expressions in the above photos ?

They are all laughing…their heads off ! This is happening irrespective of their age.This laugh is spontaneous and heartful.Since you are smart, you know that it is not a fake laugh.

Being intelligent, you also noticed that, some of them have closed their eyes,indicating total involvement and contentment of the situation they are in and the life they are living at that moment !

Don’ take life seriously,start having fun ,what ever way you wish and have at least one good laugh every day !

Have a hearty laugh at every available situations be amusing or funny.Even recollect something funny that happened in your life and laugh and laugh and laugh.

I love friends who make us happy by their laughter and who are also jovial.

And I am lucky to have lovely online friends,who make my life burden lighter with their humour.

Advantages of Laughter –brings down the stress level,Reduces the Blood pressure,Your worries gone for sometime,You are also spending the calories,even improve the immune system

And talking about sound sleep ……. Lack of sleep is common in modern society.

From the interactions I had with a few WP readers,I realised that some of them are able to respond/reply/comment mostly during past midnight ( people from my part of the Indian Subcontinent ). I am not here for any judgment,since I know nothing of their schedule etc,but I wonder what is the mood like during that time, and how their next day is going to be and also the consequences on their health status in the long run.

Reduced sleep

Disturbed sleep ( insomnia) or Lack of sleep ( Sleep deprivation).

1.Insomnia is a sleep disorder due to psychological or health problems and one has to consult the physician for the cure.

2.Lack of sleep is human making.You get ready answer as to why one is not able to sleep enough.

Lack of sleep affects your immune system.( I don’t want to go into medical /scientific details).If you want your immune system to work at its best…then get the needed amount of sleep every night Don’t give excuses of stress etc.

On the contrary,good sleep reduces your stress level !

Don’t depend on sedatives or tranquilizers ! Remember lack of sleep makes you depressed.

Definition of liminal  ( Merriam Webster )

1 : of, relating to, or situated at a sensory threshold : barely perceptible or capable of eliciting a response

  • liminal visual stimuli
2 : of, relating to, or being an intermediate state, phase, or condition : in-between,
Though many examples are available, I would like give PROCESS OF SLEEP as an example of Liminal state where awakness gradually taken over by sleep.
The process of gradual falling into sleep itself a wonderful feeling for all of us,where we can fantasize with our dreams requiring  no permissions
