Everything is better in purple…

Are purple and violet the same?

After reading this article please share your thoughts.

I know many people get confused between violet and purple colours.

To my knowledge the term ‘violet’ is used rarely.

While Violet is a natural colour, purple happens to be a created colour.

Violet is the original colour that exists on the electromagnetic spectrum.

The colour Purple does not exist in the electromagnetic spectrum.

It’s a perceived colour by the human eyes and it’s a mixture of Red & Blue.

Just like your brain fools you as the magician does unbelievable tricks, here too your brain creates this artificial colour due to limited sensors in your retina, allowing your brain to manufacture this colour.

Also, people get confused between Purple vs Blue and Purple vs Pink and Purple vs Indigo.

It’s OK if you are wrong while describing the colour!

A towel for the respectable person that you are

Don’t panic and carry a towel! (Tribute to Douglas Adams)

Are you aware of ‘Towel Day’?

Yes, my friend. There is one such day celebrated on May 25 every year.

Acknowledge the importance of the towel.

Crown Flower

“Wear a crown of flowers on your head, let its roots reach your heart” Unknown

Do you accept a crown, if offered my friend?

Wow! What a thought!

Who does not love wearing a crown and becoming a king or queen?

If you become king or queen of the world one day, what you do?

Are you not excited?

Is it not a fact that this very same world is under your control?

Don’t you feel great?

My friend, have you forgotten the idiom?

“Uneasy is the head that wears the crown”

Have you watched GOT? (Game of Thrones)

If so, you are aware that how difficult it is to retain the crown!

But still, some deserve Crown in these modern days of harshness

I am curious.

Who are they?

“Old people deserve a medal, a medal of existence which crowns their long-term victory against the cruelty of time and the dangers of this chaotic universe!”
Mehmet Murat ildan

Calotropis gigantea

The above flower’s botanical name is Calotropis Gigantea.

It’s known by the name ‘crown flower’ because of a small crown in the centre

Just note that each flower consists of ‘five-pointed petals’ and a small ‘crown’ rising from the centre which holds the stamens.

Also known by other names Giant Milkweed and swallow-worts.

Said to be a poisonous plant.

The leaves and stem when cut, yield thick milky juice. It’s used as an arrow poison or cattle poison.

  • Common as a weed in wastelands.
  • The root, bark and milk used in medicine for the treatment of dysentery cutaneous affections.

Life in colour -Purple

The English language is as funny as confusing to non-English speakers.

Why there is no egg, in eggplant and no ham in, hamburger?

‘I the king of vegetables. dressed in a Royal Purple Robe and crowned in Royal Green, welcome everyone to our Kingdom!!!”

Do you know that Eggplant, popularly known by the name Brinjal, is the king of the vegetables?

Not only in veggie food but also non-vegetarian food, Brinjal, commonly referred to as baigan, has risen in popularity. Within the brinjal, the beautifully rich and glossy purple layer and the meaty yet high nutritional white allowed it to earn the title of the King of Vegetables. Brinjal is a member of the nightshade, which means that the fruit along with the flower of the plant is edible.

  • Brinjal is also known as eggplant.
  •  In its native India, eggplant is commonly used in dishes such as sambar, Dalma (an Odisha-style dal prepared with vegetables), chutney, curry, and achaar (a pickled dish).
  • It is also referred to as the “king of vegetables” due to its versatility and widespread use in both daily and festive Indian food.

✔Eggplants are said to be berries.

✔They are high in fibre and low in calories.

My soul speaks in flowers

Why Purple is an exciting colour?

“Purple colour said to balance the stimulation of Red and calm of Blue.

With a sense of mystic and royal qualities, purple is well-liked by very creative or eccentric types

And is the favourite colour of adolescent girls”. sensational colour

“The only medal that I am certain I deserved is the Purple Heart’, Bob Kerrey

Do you know the meaning of Purple Heart?💜💜💜

According to Dictionary.Com

The Purple Heart emoji 💜 depicts a classic representation of a heart, coloured purple. It is commonly used to represent love, support, close bonds, and admiration for things that have some relation to the colour purple.

The other meaning of this emoji is an honour of sacrifice. The Purple Heart medal is awarded to the USA military veterans.

One should be careful in using this emoji in routine chats since it could also mean sexuality. The context is important.

Are there other heart symbols(Emojis)?

Yes, my friend. There are many. Each signifying one type of emotion. You have to get acquainted with the meaning of each!

No need for you to express your feelings physically! Emojis are the modern way of conveying your feelings!

Internet has changed the very meaning of the word ‘L O V E’

Have you used any one of these at any time?

  • Red Heart
  • Yellow heart💛
  • Greenheart💚
  • Blue heart💙
  • Purple heart💜
  • Blackheart🖤
  • Broken heart💔
  • Two hearts💕
  • Revolving heart💞
  • Beating heart💓
  • Sparkling heart💖
  • Heart with ribbon💝
  • Heart with arrow💘
  • Growing heart💗

My guess is millennials know more types of hearts and understand better.

Rest of the generation has to learn and understand how suitably one can express ‘Love’

So granny and grandpa out there…catch with the present generation to show or express love to your better half.

Better undergo a learning course😄😄

OK, my friends.

Have a blessed day my friend.

Spread love, smile, support, close bond and admiration. That is enough.

Thank you.

Namaste 🙏🙏🙏
