“A bottle of wine contains more philosophy than all the books in the world.” Louis Pasteur
I told my wife that a husband is like a fine wine; he gets better with age. The next day, she locked me in the cellar.–coolfunnyquotes.com
A glass of beer shortens your life by one minute, a glass of wine by two minutes, and a day of work by seven to ten hours.
When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading. Henny Young man

Yesterday is but today’s memory and tomorrow is today’s dream. Kahlil Gibran
All us have same 24 hours, but then each one of us react to the same available time based on our mood. It’s really funny !
Time is Slow-When you wait !
Time is Fast-When you are late!
Time is Deadly-When you are sad!
Time is Short-When you are happy !
Time is Endless-When you are in pain!
Time is Long-When you feel bored!
Every time ‘Time’ is determined by your feelings and your psychological conditions and not by Clocks.
So have a ‘NICE TIME’ always.
Remember ‘another time‘ known as ‘Free Time‘ ! because
“Free time is the most expensive time you have, because nobody pays for it but you. But that also makes it the most valuable time you have, as you alone stand to reap the profits from spending it wisely”. Jarod Kintz

“I know that I know nothing” Socrates
Philosophy derives from Two Greek words,Philos (love) & Sophia(wisdom).
Philosophy sheds light on the causes of various situations happening in this world and when you start asking questions in the form of ‘Why’…. remember, you start thinking like a philosopher.
“An unexamined life is not worth living” Socrates
By celebrating World Philosophy Day each year, on the third Thursday of November,UNESCO underlines the enduring value of philosophy for the development of human thought, for each culture and for each individual
“Philosophy is an inspiring discipline as well as an everyday practice that can transform societies. By enabling us to discover the diversity of the intellectual currents in the world, philosophy stimulates intercultural dialogue. By awakening minds to the exercise of thinking and the reasoned confrontation of opinions, philosophy helps to build a more tolerant, more respectful society. For UNESCO, it is also the way to unleash humanity’s creative potential and generate new ideas. Philosophy creates the intellectual conditions for change, sustainable development and peace. ”
This field, which sees itself as a form of “wisdom”, teaches us to reflect on reflection itself, to continually question well-established truths, to verify hypotheses and to find conclusions.
It is a day for people to share thoughts, openly explore and discuss new ideas and inspire public debate or discussion on society’s challenges.(timeanddate.com)
Do you know This day also includes
1.Clean your Refrigerator day and
2.Use less stuff day.

United we stand . Many times we come across funny coincidences but fail to notice..As you see in the above photo, both the lady and the tall gentleman probably trying to cross the road , concentrating the oncoming traffic. Both of them have their right hand kept on the waist ( the position one usually keeps, if one has backache ). Not only that, as you observe even the hand position and finger directions are also similar !
One God, many faces.
One family, many races.
One truth, many paths.
One heart, many complexions.
One light, many reflections.
One world, many imperfections.
We are all one,

Old age is far more than white hair, wrinkles, the feeling that it’s too late, and the game is finished, that the stage belongs to the rising generations. The true evil is not the weakening of the body, but the indifference of the soul. ‘Andre Maurois’
When do you say A person is ‘Old’ ?
Is there any criterion ? What is your definition of old age ?
Any one is happy/unhappy being referred as ‘Senior citizen’ ?Does criteria differs from country to country?
I don’t have ready answers.May be you have an answer. So let me know.My point here is irrespective of the age,why senior people are looked down and not given the respect they deserve?
Also why old people ( I mean who can afford ) are busy dying the hair, undergoing cosmetic surgery etc ? One can always age gracefully ! Daniel Klein ( Travels with Epicurus 2012) advises slowing down, enjoying play and focusing on relationship.
