Patience is the art of concealing your impatience-Guy Kawasaki

These days it’s common knowledge that nobody is patient enough to be patient.

Results should be instantaneous.

Take anything for that matter. right from your food items (instant food) to your internet speed to faster travel time and the list is long.

There is increase demand from the people to get things done as quickly as possible.

You agree with me people’s tolerance level is becoming less and less and the majority of people complain that simply they lack time.

Is this a healthy sign or a bad sign?

I don’t know.

Now let us talk about our own blogosphere.

Some of the bloggers have clearly mentioned their ‘comment policy’ with or without moderation.

Many blogger said they prefer to

  • Moderate the comments, and thus safeguarding themselves from spammers and
  • From those who abuse or use filthy language
  • Since the comments received are in no way related to the post

We all understand and sympathize since we all know the world we are living in….the most unsafe place.

But then life has to move on…

My post is about the response time taken by the author of the post to reply to the comment he or she received.

How much time gap is considered OK to respond to the comments?

Which is ideal as far as you are concerned? (I am curious to know because a good relationship can be maintained between the bloggers)

The possibilities

  • Comment under moderation (Do you love to go this way? Some said you may lose followers because none have patience and some feel bad that even genuine commentators have to wait indefinitely)
  • Instant reply to the comment
  • 6 hours
  • 12 hours
  • 24 hours
  • 3 months
  • 6 months
  • 24 months
  • Never
  • No comment button
  • The author of the post might have missed noticing the comment hence not replied.

I understand that due to different time zones between the two Hemispheres the response may be delayed from 6 hours to 24 hours. I feel that is perfectly OK because we the bloggers understand each other. But beyond this ??

Please share your views on this important ‘response time’.

Be strong and determined my friend

Butterfly

“The wings of transformation are born of patience and struggle” Janet S. Dickens

Do you know why a butterfly is the happiest?

A butterfly says, “The caterpillar-me is history, my metamorphosis, a mystery, and today is a present. My struggle gifted me” Manali Oak

Patience is a virtue

We all know this.

My friend, if you possess this quality, you are the winner in every aspect of your life.

If you have patience, the actions which you take are based on not rashness but a proper assessment of the situation giving you the advantage.

Having patience is not an easy task but in the end, you love its fruits.

Pupa or Chrysalis or Cocoon?

“Understand that the hardest times in life to go through are when you are transforming from one version of yourself to another” Mysticool

PUPA

It’s a life stage of a moth or butterfly or other insects.

Any insect other than a butterfly undergoes metamorphosis into an adult, and the stage before becoming an adult is called a pupa.

CHRYSALIS

The pupa of a butterfly is called a chrysalis.

COCOON

A cocoon is a hard protective outer covering woven by the moth or butterfly to cover the pupa. It attaches the cocoon to a leaf or branch or any surface. The idea is to keep pupa safe from predators.

BUTTERFLY

All of us must have inspiration from the butterfly’s life cycle.

My friend, every stage of the development of the butterfly teaches us beautiful lessons.

Check this link regarding the lessons an insect can teach us- INSPIRATION

“Patience doesn’t mean making a pact with the devil or denial, ignoring our emotions and aspirations. It means being wholeheartedly engaged in the process that’s unfolding, rather than ripping open a budding flower or demanding a caterpillar to hurry up and get that chrysalis stage over with.” Sharon Salzberg.

Thank you.

Monday Motivation

“Don’t try to force anything. Let life be a deep let-go. God opens millions of flowers everyday without forcing their buds” Rajneesh

Read further…

You may be wondering what this flower bud to do with my today’s topic.

Don’t rush to conclusions my friend, that is the exact reason, I am here, talking  to you.

Do you know what is funny about your lifestyle?

You rush through your life!.

You want things to be done at superspeed.

It appears as if you are chasing the time!!

“We’re a species that rushes through everything, then complains that time flies.”
 Steve Maraboli

Let us accept, you  are obsessed with

S P E E D………⏩⏩⏩⏩⏩

There is no need for me to give any examples.

Though Almighty has given you a generous 86,400 seconds every day, still you complain of lack of time!!

You become restless if there is some delay.

You are impatient.

You readily curse others for the delay and curse yourself for bad luck.

You don’t hesitate to bring in God and complain to Him as to why He is not listening to you.

How many times do you check the watch if some delay happens and you have some urgent work to be attended to?

Why do you scramble for more time?

What happens if you rush through?

When you rush, you start the process of resistance which results in an anxious state. This triggers your body hormones that are harmful to your health in the long run.

And your focus gets limited to just getting things done and you lose your general sense.

I understand you my friend since you have become a multitasker and you can’t afford to waste a single minute.

Earning more money is important to you.Who doesn’t you may ask me.

You may say I don’t understand you and you have more than 100 ‘to do’ list and you even lecture me that ‘Time is Money’ etcetera.

It’s alright. I don’t mistake your jibe since I am your well wisher.

I am reminding about every aspect and every situation where you have become habituated to rush through your life.

Are you aware of the Rush Sickness?

Also known as Hurry Sickness characterized by continual rushing and anxiousness. Said to be a behavioral pattern since you develop ‘rushing through life’ as a habit over time.

Hurry sickness aggravates your existing stress.

Your brain is in a constant state of ‘Fight or Flight Mode’ and your body starts getting loaded with harmful corticosteroids.

This can lead to heart attacks, weird lifestyles, and irritable bowel syndrome even depression.

And because you are in a hurry, you forget things! (car key etc) and curse yourself and throw the nearby items into the air or at somebody!

I am serious. These things can happen.

Not just that you become highly irritable, sensitive but lose your mental balance and always in a quarreling mood.

And you lose your beautiful smiling face unfortunately replaced by a frown

I concede the majority of us are infected with this disturbing trend.

I remember in many movies army commander shouting at his subordinates..go..go..go. Here I can understand the urgency…but in our real life?

Is life being wasted by hurrying?

Yes my friend.

And your lovely face ages faster than that of your grandparents.

“The more I took note of how my body and brain clicked along through the day, the more I realized that I spent a considerable amount of time banging around with a brain full of chatter; A rush of things to do, bills to pay, telephone calls, text messages, e-mails, worrying about my job or my looks, my boobs or my ass; I rushed from thing to thing, multitasking, triple timing, hoping to cover all the bases, avoiding anything that might disrupt the schedule or routine. At times I was so caught up in the tempo and pattern, the predictable tap, tap tap each day, that there was no time to notice the neighbors had moved out, the wind was sneaking in from the north, the Sun was shifting on its axis, and tonight the Moon would look like milky residue floating inside an enormous cereal bowl. I wondered when I had become a person who noticed so little”  Dee Williams

Any remedial measures?

Yes, there is one.

Stop rushing and…………..    S      L      O      W      down.  🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌

Memorise yourself one thousand times a day that ‘Nothing is in your hand’

What about deadlines?

Hmm…what can I say?

You are never tired of asking questions.

“Are you aware that rushing toward a goal is a sublimated death wish? It’s no coincidence we call them ‘deadlines.”
Tom Robbins

Take home message

No urgency, no hurry and no rushing of your beloved life……

” It’s more important to go slow and gain the lessons you need along the journey than to rush the process and arrive at your destination empty”    Germany Kent

Please share your thoughts.

Thank you.

Don’t feel bad….

Dead clock,life

Every bad situation will have something positive.

Even a dead clock shows correct time ,twice a day.

Unknown

During the difficult time in life, develop the habit of  having immense  faith that situations will improve and soon your  life will be on the right track.

To be frank ,this is what happens if you have a little patience and sooner the dark clouds get cleared and you get a perfect vision to see things and get ideas how best to come out of the situation in a positive way.

Don’t ask me how much time it will take, remember, these are testing times and have faith and patience.

Ultimately you are the winner !

SOME CONFUSION

Some say the above unknow quote is nothing but Height of OPTIMISM or even go to the extent of telling us it’s Height of IDIOSY.

IF YOU REALLY BELIEVE THIS QUOTE, ARE YOU NOT BOTH A FOOL & OPTIMISTIC,since rest of the time the clock shows nothing but wrong time misleading you.

Still Confused ??
