I always notice flowers- Andy Warhol

“Flowers are the beautiful hairs of the Mother Spring! Don’t pluck them!” Mehmet Murat ildan

Flowers & Individual taste

My friend, how many times do you slow down and just take a view of the nearby flower whatever may be the type or sometimes the situation?

I doubt.

How many times have you attempted to take a photo of the flower?

I doubt.

Some come up with reasons like

  • There’s no time
  • No camera
  • No proper lighting
  • It’s indecent to take flower photos in a particular situation (one situation can be during the funeral process-agree)
  • The flower has wilted and lost its beauty
  • or simply I don’t like flowers
  • I hate flowers
  • Some allergy issues (I understand)
  • Not in a mood (which can be due to any situation one is facing)
  • Don’t like the smell of the flower
  • These flowers are ugly

What is your type, my friend?

Are you

  • A lover of flowers or
  • The person who likes the flower or
  • Is the person allergic to flowers?

Please share your thoughts.

Thank you for visiting my site.

Take care, my friend.

Why is a carrot more orange than an orange?-Steven Wright

I don’t know.

May be you can help me understand better.

When I drink I think and when I think I drink-François Rabelais

“We drink one another’s health and spoil our own” Jerome K Jerome

We love everybody in this world

And you agree with me on this.

We wish and pray that everybody lives long, healthy and happy.

We wish that everybody is allowed by the Almighty to see their great-grandchildren and if possible their children too!

But then drinking one another’s health adds to the problem.

Can this be true that we drink one another’s health and spoil our own??

This can be understood in two ways.

1.In the alcoholic world.

2.In our family world.

In the alcoholic world

Are we drunkards?

Don’t we have self-control?

Don’t we have willpower?

Is there any chance that this quote telling the truth?

“First you take a drink, then the drink takes a drink, then the drink takes you” F. Scott Fitzgerald

In the family world

Probably it can mean that parents toil to give a better life to their children and then the grand children and……then their children…they may continue this in their 90s at the cost of their health just to see that everybody in the family tree is comfortable and we’ll settled.

” We grew up thinking that our parents did not understand our struggles but the truth is they made sure we never felt theirs” Unknown

Here parents are spoiling their health and happiness so that their offspring lead a decent life.

Is this for a selfish reason??

A slice of Heaven

“There are people in the world so hungry, that God cannot appear to them except in the form of bread.” Mahatma Gandhi

Who doesn’t love toast of bread?

It’s so simple and quick to make, can easily fulfil the tummy’s morning hunger.

Toasting is the easiest method of making plain bread (which is tasteless) to a palatable one.

Here the bread is browned or darkened by exposure to heat.

Toppings add the extra flavour.

Some suggest baking rather than toasting.

My God! so many terminologies… baking, roasting, boiling, grilling, broiling, heating and frying!

Which do you prefer?

Burnt

There is some discussion and some controversy about whether it is harmful if we eat burnt toast or even roasted potatoes for that matter any food item prepared with excess heat.

Again there is an intense debate between grilled food vs fried food.

Some suggest Marination is the best solution.

What happens if the food is burnt?

It’s said burnt starch food contains high quantities of ACRYLAMIDE, a highly toxic compound that can cause cancer.

This compound was discovered in burnt food in 2002
Acrylamide questions and answers

Ordinary people like you and I are always confused and under pressure by the contradictory statements by scientists.

Who to believe?

Do you believe the scientists or manufacturers or yourself or your well-wishers?

What is the message?

My friend, you know the principle- ‘Prevention is better than cure’

Other than this nothing you can do since you are helpless!

You adopt a healthy life style (easier said than followed), consuming minimum of these roasted, toasted or fried food items and increase the consumption of fruits, vegetables, lean meat, fish and eggs.

Life in colour- Orange

Do you want to glow?

It’s simple but we fail to realize.

“When we maintain a conscious connection with Gratitude, our presence will naturally radiate a certain beauty and undisturbed, inner tranquillity. Such individuals glow. All such individuals look beautiful and seem irresistible to those who value goodness. They have an attractor field of loveliness which, likewise, tends to bring out the beauty in other people.” Donna Goddard
