Growing up

Long shot

“Advice is like mushrooms. The wrong kind can prove fatal” Charles E McKenzie

Have you noticed anything else apart from the wide tree trunk and thick roots being exposed before they enter the earth below?

I shall tell.

In between the tree roots, you can notice those tiny white mushrooms, some are about to grow and some are already grown.

When you notice growing mushrooms on a tree trunk or root, is it a good sign or a bad sign?

I understand that it’s a bad sign, probably the tree is going to die.

The innocent-looking Mushroom can be lethal to this gigantic tree as time passes.

“Nature for me is raw and dangerous and difficult and beautiful and unnerving” Andy Goldsworthy

Close shot

The close up view below shows the beautiful design of these mushrooms.

“Nature alone is antique, and the oldest art a mushroom” Thomas Carlyle

When we look at nature, we see ourselves – Elliot Connor

“If there is a happy wildlife in a country in addition to the happiness of the people, we can sincerely applaud that country!”
Mehmet Murat ildan

PEACOCK

“Like a peacock dance with an open mind, and a loving heart to reveal your incredible beauty and happiness….” Gyan Choupal

GARDEN LIZARD

“Have patience like lizard, it only moves when necessary and catches its prey, Wait for the right time!”   Pranjal Kumar

DEER

Just like deer, we are born to RUN just to survive!

“Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up, it knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve. It doesn’t matter whether you’re the lion or a gazelle-when the sun comes up, you’d better be running”     Unknown

World Environment Day June 5

“Sooner or later we will have to recognise that the earth has rights, too, to live without pollution. What mankind must know is that human beings can not live without Mother Earth , but the planet can live without humans” Evo Morales

We are celebrating the day to day, in promoting worldwide awareness and action for the environment.

This year’s theme is ‘Ecosystem Restoration.’

World Environment Day reminds us of the wrong we have been doing all along, and the things we should do to correct the damage done already.

And we are witnessing the anger of mother nature!

Take care of Earth and she will take care of you.

Happy World Environment Day my friends.

Thank you.

Rule of Nature

“Nothing in Nature lives for itself.

Rivers don’t drink their own water.

Trees don’t cut their own fruits.

The Sun doesn’t shine for itself.

A flower’s fragrance is not for itself.

Living for each other is the rule of Nature.

We rise by lifting others”  unknown.

Please be selfless while helping the needy

Thank you.

Nature never goes out of style

No better way to reset

Are gloomy days ahead?

My friend, forget about future, you must be finding these days gloomy.

All these years you were proud of your resilience and used to be at the top of the world despite deluge now and then.

And the corona pandemic has changed all this.

Are we offending Mother Nature?

Yes, my friend.

“Mother Nature is punishing us, …, for our greed and selfishness. We torture her at all hours by iron and wood, fire and stone. We dig her up and dump her in the sea. We sink mine shafts into her and drag out her entrails – and all for a jewel to wear on a pretty finer. Who can blame her if she occasionally quivers with anger?”  Robert Harris

You are at the mercy of some unknown savage power!

My friend, don’t worry.Don’t get depressed.

Something good is going to happen.

We have forgotten Mother Nature

The terrible things happening now is due to our negligence of Mother Nature.

Still we are not willing to accept and take the responsibility.

“Take action to cool your planet or the planet will take action and cool your life forever.”
 Abhijit Naskar

How to feel the happiness?

“I felt my lungs inflate with the onrush of scenery – air, mountains, trees, people. I thought, This is what it is to be happy”.  Sylvia Plath

Take home message

Spend time with Mother Nature.

You never regret it.

Thank you.

Go Green

“Mother Nature is calling you, To embrace with her green hue!”  Md. Ziaul Haque

I have this doubt all the time

They say ‘Love is evergreen’.

Is this true?

Is this possible in real life?

Green is everywhere

No life is possible without Green.

‘Green is pervasive in the natural environment that says renewing, refreshing and regenerating. It represents balance, growth, learning and harmony. Green is second only to Blue as favourite colour’ sourcesensationalcolour.com

Green colour boosts appetite and relaxes our mind.

How I wish every country be like Ireland

“Ireland is so saturated with green that it’s the things that not green catch one’s eye: the roads, walls, shorelines, even sheep, seem to have been placed as contrast, strategically positioned to organize the vast expansion of green… In Ireland, you can bask in fact that you have been benevolently outnumbered by these first and better life forms. Standing in a peat bog in Dingle, you can not help wondering what Ireland was like before you and other primates scrambled upon its shore.”
Hope Jahren

Thank you.

dew drips

Other than noticing the dew drops on the glass during childhood and drawing with your finger, do you ever find time to notice or give a glance whenever you come across dewdrops for the rest of your life?

I doubt.

We are all too busy. We have more pressing priorities. Dewdrops can wait!

Since the Wonders of Mother Nature are freely available, we give ‘zero’ value to her.

Dewdrop is said to be a symbol of the human soul.

“I’ve travelled all around the world to see the rivers and the mountains, and I’ve spent a lot of money. I have gone to great lengths, I have seen everything, but I forgot to see just outside my house a dewdrop on a little blade of grass, a dewdrop which reflects in its convexity the whole universe around you”    Rabindranath Tagore

web

Beautiful view through the gaps of the wooden frame!

Blue sky, lovely clouds and birds resting on the parapet wall having a friendly chat, at the same time enjoying the nature’s beauty.

I wonder always…do they worry about their future just like we do?

My guess is only Humans worry about the future.

Rest of God’s creations don’t even think about it.

“Our anxiety does not come from thinking about the future, but from wanting to control it”   Khalil Gibran
