Monday Motivation

“Imagine there is a bank account that credits your account each morning with £86,400. It carries over no balance from day to day. Every evening the bank deletes whatever part of the balance you failed to use during the day. What would you do? Draw out every penny, of course! Each of us has such a bank. Its name is TIME. Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off as lost, whatever of this you have failed to invest to a good purpose. It carries over no balance. It allows no over draft. Each day it opens a new account for you. If you fail to use the day’s deposits, the loss is yours.”
Karl Lehmann

Thank you for visiting my site.

Take care, my friend.

Thursday Thoughts

Himalayas are unique

“There is something about the Himalayas not possessed by the Alps, something unseen and unknown, a charm that pervades every hour spent among them, a mystery intriguing and disturbing. Confronted by them, a man loses his grasp of ordinary things, perceiving himself as immortal, an entity capable of outdistancing all changes, all decay, all life, all death”  Frank Smythe

“There are hundreds of paths up the mountain, all leading to the same place, so it doesn’t matter which path you take. The only person wasting time is the one who runs around the mountain, telling everyone that his or her path is wrong.”  Hindu proverb

Thank you.

What is coming is better than what is gone!

“In winter, play with the snow; in summer, play with the Sun! Do not wait for something to come; everything is already here! In autumn, play with the leaves, in spring, play with the flowers! In summer, don’t wait for the winter; in winter, don’t wait for the summer! Everything is already here, in this present time you live in!” Mehmet Murat

Do you know?

” The meeting of two eternities, the past and future…is precisely the present moment” Henry David Thoreau

OK.What about your mindset?

Can you overcome your mental attitude?

Yes, my friend.

It’s possible.

The simple trick is to make efforts to change your attitude to the events happening outside your control.

Carefully read this quote about the pattern of your mental attitude.

“If you are depressed, you are living in the past, if you are anxious, you are living in the future, if you are at peace, you are living in the present.” Lao Tzu

Monday Motivation

Do you pile up your thoughts in your brain and make it a junkyard?

And most of you agree that the answer is ‘Yes’.

And this is the problem with you, my friend.

There are hundreds of thoughts in your brain, mostly useless, that you can be easily deleted without delay or hesitation.

You can delete instantly and don’t need to depend on Ctrl+Delete or Ctrl+Backspace

Concentrate on the quote below.

“Lost opportunities, lost possibilities, feelings we can never get back. That is part of what it means to be alive. But inside our heads- at least that is where I imagine it- there is a little room where we store these memories. A room like stacks in the library. And to understand the working of our own heart we have to keep on making new reference cards. We had to dust things off every once in a while, let in the fresh air, change the water in the flower vases. In other words, you’ll live forever in your own  private library”  Haruki Murakami

Good morning my friends.

Have a blessed Monday

Thank you.

Monday Motivation

‘Motivation’ plays an important role in achieving our goals and dreams.

It’s important to know how to motivate yourself.

Motivation is possible if you incline to achieve your goals by creating a positive mindset that can help you in focusing.

Most importantly you must be surrounded by people who encourage you and even help you.

Is failure opposite of Success?

That is what grammar teaches us.

Read this

“We need to accept that we won’t always make the right decisions, that we’ll screw up royally sometimes – understanding that failure is not the opposite of success, it’s part of success.” Arianna Huffington

Fairy tales

Often, we make fun of fairy tales because that is not how life is, since we know that there is no such thing called …happily ever after.

But my friend, they do give us some messages.

“Fairy tales are more than true: not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten.” Neil Gaiman

Take home message

My dear friend to be successful, first, you must believe in yourself.

“Magic is believing in yourself, if you can make that happen, you can make anything happen” Johann Wolfgang Goethe

Saturday Motivation

Do it with passion or not at all Unknown

Do you feel lazy on Weekends?

I understand my friend.

It’s absolutely normal. And you are eagerly waiting for this day.

But you also got an opportunity to fulfil your passions.

Instead of feeling lazy why don’t you think this way?

‘It’s the weekend. Let me not be lazy. Let me go out and do something’.

Do you have a passion for something?

I am sure the majority of us do have a passion for something to which we are truly dedicated.

Do you think you are lacking time for your passion? Or you think you are not being encouraged by others?

If it’s so read this…

“Follow your own passion—not your parents’, not your teachers’—yours.” Robert Ballard

My friend, I think you are busy giving excuses.

“If you can’t figure out your purpose, figure out your passion. For your passion will lead you right into your purpose.” Bishop T.D. Jakes

Is it a waste of your weekends if you follow your passion?

“When you start to do things that you truly love, it wouldn’t matter whether it’s Monday or Friday; You would be so excited to wake up each morning to work for your passion” Edmond Mbiaka

What are you waiting for?

Thank you.

Namaste 🙏🙏🙏

Monday Motivation

“Four-letter words have always offended me. I cringe at hearing them. Can’t, don’t, and won’t are the worst.” Richelle E. Goodrich

How easy is it to tell I can’t’? for that matter any negative expression?

“The power of “Can’t”:

The word “can’t” makes strong people weak

Blinds people who can see

Saddens happy people

Turns brave people into cowards

Robs a genius of their brilliance

Causes rich people to think poorly

And limits the achievements of that great person living inside us all”   Robert T Kiyosaki

Monday Motivation

“Did you know that using social media can actually help you to increase your level of thinking?” Germany Kent

Do you agree with the above quote?

Does social media help us to think better?

It’s said that people, especially millennials are benefited by regularly using social media and it further enhances bonding and mental wellbeing including happiness.

But the general impression given is that social media has toxic effects on the users and one  loses individuality.

It is also said that social media makes one an addict!

I feel that whether one is addicted to social media or not, better one starts thinking outside the box or else herd mentality rules the world.

“Think outside of the box, create your own path in life. “You laugh at me because I am different; I laugh because you are all the same.”  Daniel Knode

Can we think outside the box?

“Common things are common and Uncommon things are uncommon. Let it be a footprint that you are uncommon to be common in common things.”
Ernest Agyemang Yeboah

What exactly we do in social media?

My dear friend, you will be surprised if I say, that we may be revealing much more than we realize, with every post, comments, likes, shares and reblogs!

Even if one tries to act smart and be careful, somewhere with time, self-revelation happens. One can’t escape this uncomfortable truth if one wants to be on social media.

Take home message

“Everyone is living for everyone else now. They’re doing stuff so they can tell other people about it. I don’t get all that social media stuff. I’ve always got other things I want to do – odd jobs around the house. No one wants to hear about that.”  Karl Pilkington

Thank you.
