Have you noticed anything else apart from the wide tree trunk and thick roots being exposed before they enter the earth below?

I shall tell.

In between the tree roots, you can notice those tiny white mushrooms, some are about to grow and some are already grown.

When you notice growing mushrooms on a tree trunk or root, is it a good sign or a bad sign?

I understand that it’s a bad sign, probably the tree is going to die.

The innocent-looking Mushroom can be lethal to this gigantic tree as time passes.

My friend, are you not sick of Covid, Tv, Social media these days?

Are you interested to improve your moods?

Why don’t you make the best use of this opportunity and start walking daily?

Do you walk regularly my friend?

Walking for 30 minutes a day is a great way to maintain your health.

Make walking part of your life.

Are you aware of the number of steps you are supposed to take every day?

You have to have 10,000 steps per day to achieve the health benefits.

My friend, wear a pedometer and at the end of the day you will come to know how many steps you took

You can also add up the intensity by walking up hills or carrying some weight.

Walking with family members or friends is fun always!

Benefits

☑️Walking helps in digestion by moving bowels regularly and the formation of gas is minimised

☑️Better control of diabetes, heart diseases and arthritis

☑️Opportunity to reduce your weight

☑️You will be subjected to less stress and improves your moods.

☑️Remember to get all the health benefits, you must go for a brisk walk, and not a casual one 

And I read somewhere that all the famous people start their morning walks a bit early.

Simply sitting is said to be equivalent to smoking. Don’t be sedentary

☑️Most importantly, regular walking lowers your blood pressure and improves your sleeping

Do you pile up your thoughts in your brain and make it a junkyard?

And most of you agree that the answer is ‘Yes’.

And this is the problem with you, my friend.

There are hundreds of thoughts in your brain, mostly useless, that you can be easily deleted without delay or hesitation.

You can delete instantly and don’t need to depend on Ctrl+Delete or Ctrl+Backspace

Do you agree with the above quote?

Does social media help us to think better?

It’s said that people, especially millennials are benefited by regularly using social media and it further enhances bonding and mental wellbeing including happiness.

But the general impression given is that social media has toxic effects on the users and one  loses individuality.

It is also said that social media makes one an addict!

I feel that whether one is addicted to social media or not, better one starts thinking outside the box or else herd mentality rules the world.

Even if one tries to act smart and be careful, somewhere with time, self-revelation happens. One can’t escape this uncomfortable truth if one wants to be on social media.

You may be wondering what this flower bud to do with my today’s topic.

Don’t rush to conclusions my friend, that is the exact reason, I am here, talking  to you.

Do you know what is funny about your lifestyle?

You rush through your life!.

You want things to be done at superspeed.

It appears as if you are chasing the time!!

Let us accept, you  are obsessed with 

S P E E D………⏩⏩⏩⏩⏩

There is no need for me to give any examples.

Though Almighty has given you a generous 86,400 seconds every day, still you complain of lack of time!! 

You become restless if there is some delay.

You are impatient.

You readily curse others for the delay and curse yourself for bad luck.

You don’t hesitate to bring in God and complain to Him as to why He is not listening to you.

How many times do you check the watch if some delay happens and you have some urgent work to be attended to?

Why do you scramble for more time?

What happens if you rush through?

When you rush, you start the process of resistance which results in an anxious state. This triggers your body hormones that are harmful to your health in the long run.

And your focus gets limited to just getting things done and you lose your general sense.

I understand you my friend since you have become a multitasker and you can’t afford to waste a single minute.

Earning more money is important to you.Who doesn’t you may ask me.

You may say I don’t understand you and you have more than 100 ‘to do’ list and you even lecture me that ‘Time is Money’ etcetera.

It’s alright. I don’t mistake your jibe since I am your well wisher.

I am reminding about every aspect and every situation where you have become habituated to rush through your life.

Are you aware of the Rush Sickness?

Also known as Hurry Sickness characterized by continual rushing and anxiousness. Said to be a behavioral pattern since you develop ‘rushing through life’ as a habit over time.

Hurry sickness aggravates your existing stress.

Your brain is in a constant state of ‘Fight or Flight Mode’ and your body starts getting loaded with harmful corticosteroids.

This can lead to heart attacks, weird lifestyles, and irritable bowel syndrome even depression.

And because you are in a hurry, you forget things! (car key etc) and curse yourself and throw the nearby items into the air or at somebody!

I am serious.These things can happen.

Not just that you become highly irritable, sensitive but lose your mental balance and always in a quarreling mood.

And you lose your beautiful smiling face unfortunately replaced by a frown

I concede the majority of us are infected with this disturbing trend.

I remember in many movies army commander shouting at his subordinates..go..go..go. Here I can understand the urgency…but in our real life?

Is life being wasted by hurrying?

Yes my friend.

And your lovely face ages faster than that of your grandparents.

“The more I took note of how my body and brain clicked along through the day, the more I realized that I spent a considerable amount of time banging around with a brain full of chatter; A rush of things to do, bills to pay, telephone calls, text messages, e-mails, worrying about my job or my looks, my boobs or my ass; I rushed from thing to thing, multitasking, triple timing, hoping to cover all the bases, avoiding anything that might disrupt the schedule or routine. Any remedial measures?

Yes, there is one.

Stop rushing and…………..    S      L      O      W      down.  🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌

Memorise yourself one thousand times a day that ‘Nothing is in your hand’

What about deadlines?

Hmm…what can I say?

You are never tired of asking questions.
