Thursday Thoughts

Where is the Heaven?

My friend, don’t waste your time searching for Heaven.

There is no specific address to Heaven or Hell.

Remember Heaven resides in your brain.

Surprisingly the same brain has also another occupant by the name ‘Hell’

Now it’s up to you to decide who loves you more, which depends on your inward reaction to outward events.

“The mind is its own place, and in itself can make a heaven of hell, a hell of heaven” John Milton

Many argue that Heaven & Hell are religious concepts.

And the law of Karma allows you to experience both Heaven and Hell.

What is the real Heaven?

“Whenever we manage to love without expectation, calculations, negotiations, we are indeed in Heaven”  Rumi

Sadly neither we love truly nor give true love equally.

Everybody talks big about love whatever may be the type of love, but none sticks to the reason for which they loved in the very beginning.

What exactly is Hell?

“Hell is empty and all the devils are here” William Shakespeare

Some said once you are born, you are into hell.

In other words, Hell is nothing but your life on the Earth.

Leading one’s life has become a tough job and one is never happy, and some said death is the ultimate Heaven.

I don’t know what exactly they are trying to convey.

Maybe it’s real or maybe it’s an emotional outburst…

We leave it to them.

Please share your thoughts.

Thank you for visiting my site.

Take care, my friend.

Greatest Love of all

“One of the greatest titles in the world is parent, and one of the biggest blessings in the world is to have parents to call mom and dad” Jim DeMint

One of the greatest loves in this world is that of a parent for the child.

This kind of love one experiences as a parent especially when the child is less than 5 years, can’t be described.

I feel this is the greatest love of all and can’t be compared to other types of Love.

Thank you for visiting my site.

Take care, my friend.

What is the opposite of Love?

I know, you are jumping the gun.

You are about to say ‘hatred’

I know you very well my friend.

“There is no opposite of love because love is everything. There is only an absence of love, which is fear.” Unknown

Fashion your life as a garland of beautiful deeds-Buddha

“To have ideas is to gather flowers; to think is to weave them into garlands” Sophie Swetchine

The above image is a garland of two flowers together-Jasmine & a Firecracker.

Firecracker(Crossandra) is known by the name Kanakambaram in South India.

These flowers are used to adorn the hairdo in the South Indian States.

These flowers are popular in bridal hairstyles.

Women wearing flowers on hair is a common sight in India especially South India

“Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it” Confucius

Why the Indian women, especially those from South India wear the flowers on their hair without fail, every day?

Every morning, the women religiously put on the flower strands on their heads after a bath.

These flower strands make the women look beautiful (Indians feel that way, and I am not sure, how the westerners feel about wearing a flower on the hair).

Flowers are a symbol of love, good luck, happiness, and prosperity.

In an Indian household, a girl is supposed to wear flowers on her hair because it brings happiness to the family and prosperity to all the members.

Wearing flowers on the hair is the symbol that Goddess Lakshmi (Goddess of Wealth) is residing in the house and that wealth will never leave the house.

Jasmine, Rose, and Hibiscus are common, jasmine being the favourite.

How the garland is made? Check this clip.

Thank you.

Flower Of The Day

Always one gets confused between violet and purple when there are shades in the colour.

Everything is better in purple...

“I do love violets, they tell the history of woman’s love” Letitia Elizabeth

There are so many beautiful reasons to be happy…and flowers are just one! Unknown

I am sure nobody would have come across a person who hates flowers.

None of us knows what is the exact reason, we all love flowers.

Each comes out with own reasons

✔Some say flowers relieve one from stress.

✔Some feel it’s a mood changer.

✔Some said there is a flower 🌸 for every occasion.

✔Many expressed that flowers are always colourful and thus they wish for a colourful life.

✔Many say flowers are pure and so they decorate their favourite deity with flowers.

✔Millions said that the first thing they do when they see a flower is to smell it and enjoy the fragrance that takes them to a different world.

✔Many feel the flower is a symbol of Love.

✔It’s said one can convey one’s feelings just with flowers.

✔Flowers are used as gifts, decorative pieces and a function is incomplete without the presence of the flowers.

✔Many flowers are used in medicine.

✔There is no perfume industry without flowers.

Do you have any favourite flowers?

If so what is your reason?

I love Jasmine for its fragrance.

Thank you.

The words ‘I Love You’ kill, and resurrect millions, in less than a second-Aberjhani

Red is said to be colour of Love

Red colour invariably takes you to the world of ‘Love’ and relationship.

Best relationship

We are all famous for boasting how well we maintain the best relationships with each other.

Can this be true?

What do you mean by best relationship?

I know, you are dodging my question.

My friend, I am sorry to say that you only talk and act.

Many times you act best to your ability.

Are you not cheating yourself?

The best meaning of ‘the best relationship’

“The very best relationship has a gardener and a flower. The gardener nurtures and the flower blooms.” Carole Radziwill

If anybody claims that they have this kind of relationship…they are lying to each other.

Repeating million times, ‘I love you’…no more carries any value.

I may be harsh on you, but accept the truth about relationships.

Thank you.
