Cute Kid!

“Kid, you’ll move mountains”. Dr.Seuss

As you have noticed this kid barely less than 18 months, is seen busily trying to climb those slippery steps (there was a drizzle) of The Giant Causeway, Northern Ireland.

The Giant Causeway is a UNESCO world heritage site.

“There are no ‘seven wonders’ of the world in the eyes of a child. There are seven million” Walt Streightiff

The Causeway displays polygonal columns of basalt rock, resulting from a volcanic eruption some 60 millions years ago.

And I have noticed that the mother was telling the kid to be careful, but the child was too enthusiastic, unaware of the dangers from slippery rock.

What is wrong with parenting since time immemorial?

“A lot of mothers will do anything for their children, except let them be themselves”.  Banksy

And from where this tiny tot is getting this energy?

Scientifically, it’s said children have more energy than endurance adults.

Is it a good idea to control the kid with a constant reminder of dangers during playtime?

I feel parents should be bold and not have negative thoughts about the child’s capabilities and encourage the child to enjoy its risky play of course under watchful eyes.

Risk playing is thrilling for the kid and the child can assess its ability.

”Children have a full time occupation. It’s called PLAY. Let them be occupied by it from their early years until their twilight years” Unknown

Thank you.

Lens-Artists Challenge #129 – Favorite Images of 2020

Kids are Kids

“Every child is an artist. The problem is to remain an artist once they grow up”  Pablo Picasso

I wish to go back to my childhood.

No inhibitions.No imitations.Full of innocence.

Life was nothing but full of joy and energy!

Life was beautiful.

“I’m not a stunt man, nor do I indulge in somersaults, I let my life perform these!” Sudeep The Deep

Artist

Can you tell me what exactly this artist wanted us to guess as to what these two ladies are up to and can you make out their moods?

“The aim of art is not to represent the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance” Aristotle

Cut Tree

We express our sadness and are shocked, when we lose our dear and near ones. We cry a lot.

Did we ever cry, when we witness, somebody cutting the trees, which are our saviors?

“Humans are the only creatures in this world, who cut the trees, made paper from it and then wrote ‘Save trees’ on it”  unknown

Upside Down

Life is never smooth. You have to face both ups and downs.

How do you react?

“Try not to resist the changes that come your way. Instead let life live through you. And do not worry that your life is turning upside down. How do you know that the side you are used to is better than the one to come?”  Rumi

Thank you.
