Better Half?

“If there is “better”, then there is a “best”. If there is “half”, then there is a “complete”. Far more than being a “better half”, you can be a “best complete”; like a word/phrase that beautifies and gives meaning to a sentence when it is added” Olaotan Fawehinmi

Better half or bitter half?

Initially, the saga starts as the better half.

Some sustain and continue to love each other till death separates.

Some succumb to ego and become bitter half, ruining the rest of the life.

Why can’t the couple try to understand each other and make amendments?

It’s a million-dollar question.

Perfect wife?

Everybody talks big but when it comes to personal life…they behave differently.

I can understand because that is how we humans are coded.

Yes, my friend, this is the world we are living in.

If you don’t accept this, you are living in a fool’s paradise.

All of us have two faces, but we deny

“I really hate two-faced people. It’s so hard to decide which face to slap first” Unknown

Can art be Therapy?

Yes, my friend

It’s said to be an ‘expressive therapy’

Art is nothing but self-expression and through this artists can communicate for the betterment of society.

Art is said to have a healing effect on mentally disturbed people.

What is public art?

Public art is encompasses any form of art you see in a public place, large or small, statues, murals, graffiti, gardens, parks, etc. The art should be visible from streets, sidewalks or outdoor public places.

“A wall is a very big weapon. It’s one of the nastiest things you can hit someone with” Banksy

Don’t ask me what is that the above painting conveys… or who is hitting whom!

I can’t answer because I am not an artist.

Let me struggle to find out the answer.

Meanwhile if you get anything from this painting, please let me know.

But I am happy with this art because it’s colourful and I enjoy the colour display and my mind is at peace.

Thank you.

Public Art

As per Cee Neuner, the host of ‘Photographic Public Art Challenge’

“Public art is encompasses any form of art you see in a public place, large or small, statues, murals, graffiti, gardens, parks, etc. The art should be visible from streets, sidewalks or outdoor public places”

The graffiti below trying to bring awareness of environmental disasters unfolding, along with avoidable personal injuries.
Each component conveying the importance of dangers to you and others if proper attention is not given to our safety and the future.

“The Earth Doesn’t belong to us: We belong to the Earth” Marlee Matlin

Sadly, we are all behaving as if Environmental issue is nothing to do with us, after all individually we are not responsible and things are beyond our control. Don’t you agree?

What is the solution?

It’s simple but one needs willpower and collective resources. First…

“Address these environmental issues, and you will address every issue known to man. And we keep dabbling in things that aren’t really important in the long run” Ted Danson

My friend, don’t you believe that we are heading for an environmental disaster?

Yes, or no?

“Destruction of our Earth – created by billions of years of the evolutionary process – with our stupidity of the last few centuries is a candidate to be one of the most tragicomic scenes in the history of this universe!”

Monday Mural

“I laugh at the way some people think graffiti is all selfish tagging and vandalism. Thoughtful street art is like good fiction – it speaks out on behalf of everyone, for us all to see.” Carla H. Krueger

Do you love murals?

We are never tired of the argument regarding murals.

Some say it is pure form of  art and the artist puts his/her soul to express what an artist wishes to express.

Others say it’s is nothing but vandalism.

Some said these arts convey nothing and more of a nuisance and diverts the attention of drivers, on the roads and can cause even traffic accidents.

Some said defacing the walls is a crime.

Others said the city is becoming ugly.

Do you agree?

“Some people become cops because they want to make the world a better place. Some people become vandals because they want to make the world a better-looking place.”
Banksy

Food for thought

“I don’t understand why when we destroy something created by man we call it vandalism, but when we destroy something by nature we call it progress.”  Ed Begley Jr.

What are your thoughts on Art vs vandalism my dear friend??

Thank you.
