Patterns

What is pattern?

A pattern is an arrangement of lines or shapes, especially a design, in which the same shape is repeated at regular intervals over the surface- Collins dictionary

Man-made ‘Pattern’

“Cutting down a tree is like cutting down your own supply of oxygen” Unknown

If you notice the above image, it’s a cut portion of a tree trunk.

The pattern on the cut portion shows so many vertical lines apart from the trunk’s original circular bands.

The vertical pattern is due to sawing.

It’s unfortunate that the trunk was pruned, on enquiry I understand that this particular trunk was infested with fungus and needed immediate attention, as it can fall any time.

God made ‘pattern’

“God is the creator of incredible beauty and all that He envisioned and desired to create, He also desired to share” Michelle Carbotte

This begs answer for a question.

Can we be original?

I doubt.

Anything and everything we imitate Mother Nature.

Let us not claim that we have originality.

Thank you for visiting my site.

Take care my friend.

Without Geometry life is pointless

Geometry by God

“Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes

The shapes to avoid in one’s life

“In life there are three shapes you should avoid, vicious circles, Love triangles and square minds”  Unknown

Geometry by Human (Rather copied from Mother Nature)

“Geometry enlightens the intellect and sets one’s mind right. All of its proofs are very clear and orderly. It is hardly possible for errors to enter into geometrical reasoning, because it is well arranged and orderly. Thus, the mind that constantly applies itself to geometry is not likely to fall into error. In this convenient way, the person who knows geometry acquires intelligence”  Ibn Khaldun

Spiritual Sunday

“I believe in God, but not as one thing, not as an old man in the sky. I believe that what people call God is something in all of us. I believe that what Jesus and Mohammed and Buddha and all the rest said was right. It’s just that the translations have gone wrong,” John Lennon.

Thankful Thursday

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into feast., a house into a home, a stranger into a friend” Melody Beattie

Do you practice gratitude & Being thankful?

I am thankful for everything in my life.

Today I am alive and grateful to God.

Another day to spend on Earth with loved ones and to enjoy Mother Nature’s wonders.

I am grateful for all the good health that Almighty bestowed,

I am thankful for just a few coins Almighty has provided.

I am thankful for being in a position to learn from my mistakes.

I am thankful to be in a shelter and having a good education.

I am thankful because I don’t have to go hungry.

I am thankful for the sound sleep I get in the night.

I am thankful to God for those pains because without pain we never appreciate the happiness in our life. I am much stronger now.

I am thankful for ageing, which made me gain wisdom.

I am thankful to God since I enjoyed my childhood &  also for these modern-day technologies.

I am thankful to all my teachers,  real-time friends, relatives, online friends, superiors and guides.

I am thankful for being alive and be happy with my family.

“The Practice of Gratitude is about Gratefulness and Gratefulness is about:
– Being Thankful
– Being Appreciative
– Being Kind
– Being Joyful
– Being Blessed”
 Sandra C Bibb

Thank you.

Is life a Whirlpool?

What is Whirlpool?

A whirlpool is a large swirling body of water formed when two opposing currents of water meet. And if one gets stuck in the Whirlpool, the swirling vortex which is deadly straight away drags you to the bottom of the river or ocean.

It’s said even ships can get drowned and destroyed.

Can we compare our life to a whirlpool?

What do you say, my friend?

My guess is we are trapped in a whirlpool.

Our mind is a constant battle between ‘do it’ & ‘don’t do it. or ‘Yes’ or ‘No’

You are damned if you do and you are damned if you don’t do!

Two things are very clear, right from the beginning

Just like we enter this world, we have to leave it too.

The world belongs to us at the same time we are not, permanent members to claim the ownership.

We try to achieve ‘high’ all the times in our dealings and try to be successful persons in this life.

Our struggle is never-ending

Ups and downs, constantly remind us, our limitations in the scheme of things from the Universe.

I am not saying that one should never strive to become the best.

And becoming best, at what cost?

That is the question I am asking.

Are we not trapping ourselves from happiness to sadness to happiness to sadness?

And the majority tells us, that happiness is eluding them all the time and that they are sad.

“Life without problem is like an ocean without water, which is really impossible” Bilal Khan

You know that it’s a vicious cycle

What is the whirlpool of life?

My friend life is an endless string of problems.

They are plenty but I can tell a few.

  • Problems/Financial crisis
  • Obstacles
  • Over ambition
  • security
  • Greed
  • Desire
  • Concerns, hurts & sorrow (health, love life, relationship, friendship etc)
  • Workplace pressure, unfair treatment etc.
  • Failure

I can go on and on…

These are enough to drown you to the bottom.

Is there any solution?

Yes, my friend.

The problems and obstacles are nothing but creations of your mindset’

Have a positive attitude while facing problems.

Life is full of opportunities and probabilities.

Anything can happen in your life.

Don’t fight with the Whirlpool. Let the whirlpool pull you down. You just flow with it, touch the bottom and then swim back.

Same thing you do in your life also. Don’t fight but flow with the tide and calm down yourself. Change your attitude and mindset.

God troubles us with all the problems because

  • He wants us to become stronger by facing them
  • He wants us to have a look at a different perspective of life
  • He wants you to develop patience and tolerance

But what we do instead?

Instead of solving our problems, We create more problems for ourselves & also for others.

We are never helpful to each other and create obstacles if somebody becomes successful.

We have become more selfish and hesitate to help the needy.

“Once your mindset changes, everything o the outside will change along with it” Steve Maraboli

Life is all about love, love and love

“We are travellers on a cosmic journey, stardust, swirling and dancing in the eddies and whirlpools of infinity. Life is eternal. We have stopped for a moment to encounter each other, to meet, to love, to share. This is a precious moment. It is a little parenthesis in eternity”  Paulo Coelho

Please share your thoughts.

Thank you.

Friendly Friday-Unusual

Cambridge English Dictionary defines ‘unusual’ as

Different from others of the same type in a way that is surprising, interesting, or attractive.

Different from what is usual or expected.

Simply put it either uncommon or not normal.

I shall show you Two Images which I felt unusual.

V symbol on the icy mountain

“When God steps in Miracles happen”    Unknown

In the above photograph

You can notice the ice formation resembling the letter ‘V’. I can’t imagine how this ‘V’ symbol formed in the first place, on this mountain, extending from top to bottom.

Can you explain to me whether it’s physics or chemistry or geology etc or you think it can’t be explained ??

Is this not God’s way of showing V for Victory sign? ( my apologies to atheists ). His Victory over mankind !!” Just a reminder probably, because humans have become too arrogant !!

The rule is, “God always wins ” Never argue or question Almighty’s decisions and try to score brownie points and become a fool and a highly qualified ignorant!

This Image taken in Tromso,Norway.

In the image below…

You can notice Heaven amid the sea, and some kind hearted soul has arranged a comfortable chair for you to sit with a mini lawn and a Palm tree for shade.

What are you waiting for? Remember… in the photo,I have not covered the sorrounding beautiful icy mountains.

It’s a Heaven for those who hail from countries where the temparature ranges from hot, hotter to hottest.

It’s not your dream world! It’s your real world !!

Chain in the sea

“It’s the possibility of having the dream come true that makes life interesting”   Paulo Coelho

The above photo too taken in Tromso,Norway.I am not sure probably it’s part of Romssanuorri strait.Norwegian readers can correct me.
