I am unique, I am special. I am me

Most of the time we are all busy in one way or another.

We never find time to appreciate Nature, which ironically is free.

We spend our fortunes for unnecessary things.

We ae consumed by consumerism.

We are all being attracted by pleasures of different types but not by the beauty of Nature, how strange it is!

Do you spare some time for Mother Nature?

“The more time you spend with Nature, the deeper your understanding of life will be” Nitin Namdeo

Initially, I was very busy in my profession and unable to spend enough time with Nature.

I lost so many opportunities and I lost all those beautiful moments in spending time with Nature.

By the time one realises one is too old!

And if one deeply starts thinking one can realise the power of Nature.

What is the power of Mother nature? (In this case about flowers)

“I am the lover’s gift; I am the wedding wreath; I am the memory of a moment of happiness; I am the last gift of the living to the dead; I am a part of the joy and a part of sorrow.” Gibran Kahlil Gibran

Sadly, the majority of us don’t even look at these beautiful flowers, other than during the occasion of some ceremony or celebrations.

Are you finding enough time to spend with Mother Nature my friend?

Thank you.

Wildflowers💐

“May your life be like a wildflower, growing freely in the beauty and joy of each day.”

 Native American Proverb

“Here’s the thing about wildflowers they take root wherever they are grow strong through the wind, rain, pain, sunshine, blue skies and starless nights they dance, even when it seems there is nothing worth dancing for they bloom with or without you”  Alisha Christensen

What is a wildflower?

Wildflowers are said to grow naturally rather than cultivated.

It’s not intentionally seeded or planted.

I am not sure of the name of the above flower, but I guess it belongs to the dandelions category.

Some confusion as to dandelions is wildflowers, weeds or in between.

Why wildflowers matter?

“Love is like wildflowers; It’s often found in the most unlikely places.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

✔Wildflowers support insects.

✔Wildflowers attract pollinators( bees etc) and more the pollinator population better for the humans because many of our fruits, vegetable and nuts depend on the pollinators.

✔Some of the wildflowers contain compounds that are used in drugs for treating certain diseases.

✔Wildflowers are said to keep the soil healthy with the roots of the plants spreading and stabilising the soil.

✔And wildflowers are so colourful, just by watching them one is at peace with joy and happiness.

Weeds/Wildflowers is a confusing subject to me.

Thank you.

Hey Honey, thank you for Beeing with us!

“The bee is more honored than other animals, not because she labors, but because she labors for othersSaint John Chrysostom

I did not notice the other tiny insect, while I was concentrating on this bee.

The beauty of photograph is that we many time see the unexpected!

And it’s said the best things happen in life ‘unexpected’!

Have patience my friend.

You see your life going to be full of colours soon!

The beauty of Nature!

“A flower is a smile from Heaven” Unknown

‘Friends are like beautiful flowers in the Garden of Life  Unknown

Can you equate friends and flowers and that too with your life?

Do you believe in this quote?

If you feel this quote is correct, tell me why you think so.

Everybody is not your friend

“Just because they hang around you and laugh with you does not mean they are your friend. People pretend well. At the end of the day, real situations exposé the fake people. So pay attention” Unknown

Is Friendship a disguise?

“Some of the most poisonous people come disguised as friends & Family”  Unknown

Is friendship a must?

It depends on you and your intensity of selfishness.

If you want to be selfish, continue your so called ‘friendship forever’!

“I have many friends who are selfish. So I rather prefer to stay alone because loneliness is better than a loveless friendship” Annu

A better definition of ‘Selfish’

“Nobody is against us. Everybody is just for themselves, hence Selfish”  Unknown

And What about Love?

I am not sure…as to why you are bringing the topic of ‘love’ when we are discussing ‘friendship’

My friend ‘Love’ is always a confusing word because it’s complicated and there are varieties of love and millions of ways of love and thousands of meanings… one can shower love for known or unknown reasons.

And there is no such thing as ‘true love’

Love is spontaneous but stays for a short time.

Friends can be loving to each other, or love each other  but selfishness plays a major role.

And ‘love’ is selfish these days

Whatever anybody does to others is not out of love but from a selfish angle, and this is the truth.

Even a mother is not able to share her love equally with her children!

I know you are aghast and not willing to accept.

You may claim there are exceptions to the rule.

That is OK. All thoughts and feelings are respected.

Everybody behaves and talks as if they love each other forever and this reminds one of ‘fairy tales’ which is just a temporary feel-good factor.

Never chase for true love, my friend!

It all boils down to… give and take policy, which may not be overt but with subtle behavioural patterns & hints.

This give & take policy, I call ‘balanced love’ and let us be frank in accepting this so that our life is smoother.

Enough of lecture, Come to the real point

Sure my friend.

I know still, you are not convinced.

No, read this quote from Chanakya, an ancient Indian teacher, philosopher, economist, jurist & Royal adviser.

“There is some self-interest behind every friendship. There is no friendship without self-interest. This is a bitter truth

What about friends & Friendship in WordPress?

An excellent question my friend.

Appreciate you very much.

I can explain.

WordPress friendship is unique, Why & How?

“It works. And it creates the bonds that are as strong, if not stronger because these are not people you are judging by looks, by money or by status.

These people are people you have met because of their personalities, their fandoms, their likes, their interests, their standpoints, their viewpoints and the talents that people in their ‘real lives’ never appreciated “  TheMindsJournal

Take home message (refers to offline friends)

“I told God to protect me from my enemies and I started losing my friends”  Unknown

If you find time check my other post – ‘Is friendships is a fraud?’

Please share your thoughts on friendship and whether you were hurt because of the friendship or you got ruined by the friendship or you still admire your old & new friends.

Thank you.

Make peace with your broken pieces- r.h.Sin

Ever Wondered?

“Dead people receive more flowers than the living ones because regret is stronger than gratitude” Anne Frank

My friend is it not an ugly truth in our life?

Ironically we value the people after they are gone!

We never love the person when this person is alive maybe because of jealousy or egoistic nature, hatred, misunderstanding, presumptions, assumptions and one can talk of plenty of other reasons.

Nowadays it has become a fashion to express regret loudly without doing any corrections and forget things in the next minute. After all, life has to move on!

We also come across mentalities, where somebody wishes that ‘It’s better if so and so dies’!. What a cruel world!!

It’s said, even if you don’t wish to regret…still you regret at the subconscious level and there is no escape!

Is regretting a good thing or a bad thing?

It depends on what you are regretting.

Regret can result either from…you doing something or not doing something.

My friend’, regret’ is good for the time being. It’s good to realize where things did go wrong. But there is no need to continue the guilt.

It’s said we regret our missed opportunity more than our bad decisions.

“Regret is counterproductive. It’s looking back on a past that you can’t change. Questioning things as they occur can prevent regret in the future.” Colleen Hoover

Take-Home Message

☑️Nothing wrong with regretting.

☑️Don’t suppress your feelings and at the same time take corrective measures.

☑️You start forgiving yourself and start living ‘the moment’ and move on my friend.

☑️Stop fighting with your family members! Never hate them!

“No regrets in life. Just lessons learned” Unknown

Have you ever regretted in your life such that you find difficult to forgive yourself?

Please share your thoughts.

Thank you.

‘Selective’ Mentality

Why majority of us are selective in everything?

I don’t know.

Is this something to do with ‘Cognitive Bias’-? I am not an expert.

Of course, I am not referring to sexism or racism.

Maybe we are lucky to have choices.

Not just the choices of worldly items available for us to choose, but we are also expert in other types of selectiveness, examples can be selective hearing, selective blindness, selective ignorance and even selective memory in certain circumstance.

Even choosing a life partner has become selective!

One can also be socially selective!

Hats off to human behavior & mental upbringing!!

Why one is selective all the time?

My dear friend, being selective is a power within.

This power can have either negative or positive consequence.

By being choosy, are we not encouraging bias or partiality?

Nothing wrong with being selective, just remember that its’ temporary, because you change over time, people change, your tastes change and what you have selected today may not be your liking on some other day.

Ok. What is your selection criteria, my friend?

Who is tricking you to be selective?

Why can’t you have a broad mind?

Are you not limiting your choices?

Remember your judgment is based on your knowledge and your selection may be flawed.

My Free Advice

Being selective has its advantages if undertaken positively.

Start saying ‘No’ to ‘more’

Start saying ‘yes’ to ‘less’

Some Advantages-

  • You can remove your friendly toxic people from your life
  • You can bring down the overload of consumer information.
  • You are less burdened from overthinking & over worrying.
  • You can avoid ‘sales’ gimmicks

Selective Coloring

“Be selective When it comes to choosing friends.

Some people don’t know the true meaning of friendship and loyalty” Unknown

Thank you.
