When God made the color purple, God was just showing off-Mae Jemison

Flower of the day

“When you see the flower of happiness on your way, don’t take it immediately; Sit and watch it and realize how rare it is!” Mehmet Murat ildan

Who is in a position to hate flowers?

You must be wondering who on earth hates flowers?

My friend, we are humans. We are beautiful and weird too!

When there is YIN there has to be YANG.

It’s not a surprise if you happen to come across somebody who hates flowers.

Health-related

People who have allergy problem or suffer from bronchial asthma are strictly advised to avoid flowers and other items that emanates fragrance (as per the medical profession).

They may find it difficult to breathe if they come across flowers, shrubs, herbs even trees and they are advised to refrain from smelling the flowers.

Are you aware of Anthophobia?

It’s a persistent and even intense fear of flowers.

The person may fear just one or more flowers.

This condition is said to be extremely rare.

It’s just like many other phobias.

Take it easy and breathe deep.

What does it mean “I don’t like flowers very much?

Don’t draw any conclusions.

It’s OK.

Leave it to the better judgment.

Just move on.

What is the best one can do when one sees a flower?

“You want to do something good for the flowers? Then, keep the flowers in the soil, in nowhere else!” Mehmet Murat Ildan

Flower of the day

“If you look the right way, you can see that the whole world is a garden” Frances Hodgson Burnett

Always I wonder about the short life span of a flower once it blooms fully.

There are many tips to see that flowers are made to look fresh but they are temporary.

Why does God make them wilt so fast??

My friend, the Lord is simply following the rule of Life.

Life’s beauty is just temporary.

Even you and I are temporary.

My guess is God wants us to remember constantly that beauty is not permanent and it changes as time passes and that one must enjoy the wonderful life journey admiring Mother Nature’s beauty at every stage of their existence.

Do you love plucking flowers and putting in a vase?

Many people love to keep them in a vase and decorate the room.

They say it adds freshness and the aroma keeps the mind calm.

But Mehmet Murat ildan has a different take.

“No flower is happy in a vase, because the vase is nothing but an ornate coffin for the flower”

What about the floristry?

Many say it is another form of art and nothing wrong with it.

All may not agree.

“I am against the florists and floristry! Let the flowers not be the toys of our pleasures!” Mehmet Murat ildan

What about you my friend?

Just curious.

Thank you for visiting my site.

Take care, my friend.

“In the beginning, we start with roses. The king’s flower right? Only they wilt in less than a day, especially when exposed to the elements. But Carnations? Oh, what a beautiful flower. They come in every color. True, some are painted, but that doesn’t mean they are less beautiful, and they never wilt.”

White flowers

Fresh white flowers are associated with purity and innocence.

It also indicates honesty and perfection.

Many South Indian ladies wear fresh jasmine flowers on their hair, especially in the morning time.

In South India, jasmine is a way of life and flower art is inseparable from the worship of Gods.

Do you like the jasmine scent?

If so how do you describe the experience?

Sunflowers

“Flowers have an expression of countenance as much as men and animals. Some seem to smile; some have a sad expression; some are pensive and diffident; others again are plain, honest and upright, like the broad-faced sunflower and the hollyhock.”  Henry Ward Beecher
