Corona Virus aka Covid-19 is a new illness spreading like a wild fire.

Virus Going Viral !

I wonder who has invented the term “Going Viral”, a craze now a days in social media, with people doing all sorts of crazy things just to attain that 1 second fame !!

The Oxford English Dictionary’s earliestĀ  citation for the use ofĀ viral in the sense of ā€˜involving the rapid spread of informationā€™ is dated 1989Ā  source-quora

I wish somebody gets statistics on this ‘Corona virus going viral’by means of shares,views,links,likes,etc.etc.

Corona Virus is the most searched term on the internet.

Enough is already said, read, digested & assimilated about the Corona virus.

Some Pundits have predicted dooms day. This we ignore for the time being and move on to the more important things.

The most popular items to control spread of virus said to be Facial mask and Sanitizers.

The only thing still not being popularized is Social Distancing.

Another hashtag going viral said to be #canceleverything.

What is Social Distancing ?

Social distancing is a public health safety intervention used to reduce the likelihood of transmitting communicable disease. “Social distancing now is one of the greatest calls for altruism”Ā  Jeff Martin.MD.MPH

How social distancing helps prevent the spread of the virus ?

Because of this type of spreading via respiratory droplets …..maintaining ones distance is important and that is where Social Distancing plays a major role.

What is the distance one is supposed to maintain ?

Maintain a distance of 6 feet or 2 meters.

Watch this funny clip

My routine is getting disturbed !

My friend this is not time to be selfish. We allĀ  must help the society, right from individual level to contain the virus going viral.Be a responsible socially conscious citizen.

Some of my thoughts

  • Since vacation time is coming in the next few months,if you have planned already, for Heaven’s sake just forget it.Cancel it and be happy to get back the refund. Strangely travelling is very opposite of Social Distancing.Remember airports, railway stations, bus stations, trains, buses, planes are all the locations, Virus waiting to strike you.
  • So no more public transport or car pooling etc.
  • Forget your romantic plans to go to movies or dining out.No more dating programs.
  • Stay away from the Gym.
  • Don’t spend long timesĀ  in public places.
  • If you are lucky, your company may ask you to work from home.Enjoy the paid holiday instead of grumbling.
  • Simply put together avoid shops, schools, museum, theaters, bars, entertainment venues and travel.
  • you can add your points too.

What about the other terms, we are coming across, like Self-isolation & Self-quarantine ?

Self isolation- It is for those persons who have symptoms of Corona virus. These persons are advised to stay home.

Self Quarantine-it’s for those who are suspected to have infected and are required to isolate themselves up to 14 days.

Final thoughts

Corona virus is not a joke.Let us stop posting and sharing memes on it.

May God keep all of us safe.

ā€œDeath can be as common as the common cold.
We have taken everything for granted, but we forget that we are only travelers here for a short time.
So don’t play the bus driver when you don’t know how to drive.ā€

Be safe, play safe & be helpful to the society.

Thank you. NamasteĀ  šŸ™šŸ™šŸ™

Why do you want to be remembered after you die ?

Is there any law of attachment after you die ?

What good it does to anybody if you are remembered after you die ?

Does it serve any purpose to you ?

Don’t feel bad if I tell you the truth.Nobody cares whether you are alive or dead. All are busy in their own world.Nobody has got time to remember you.

Let me be brutally frank here, some of your so called well wishers are glad that you died.

Come on. Can you force somebody to remember you all the time irrespective of the relationship you had ?

Shall I tell what exactly happens the day you die ?

Visitation-All your relatives and friends gather and talk to each other trying to remember the good things you did.

Funeral- Some of your known people may give Eulogy.

Burial service-A sad day for your relatives and friends.

Luncheons- Again people may remember and talk about you.

Memorial services- On this day, definitely you are remembered.

And what about your kith & kin ?

To my knowledge your kith/kin will remember you on your death anniversary at the most. They remember you in flashes now and then,as time passes.

You don’t wish them to be crying all the time. Do you ?

The life has to be back to routine for them, since remembering you at every second is not possible. Life moves on !

Whether you give permission or not…. change is the rule of mother nature and people change.

Human memory is poor and short.

How else you wish to be remembered ?

I can only say that you may be remembered for the legacy you leave.

If at all you are remembered,it’s only because the memories bring happiness or sadness or anger.

Best way to leave a legacy is to donate your organs for the needy if you are sure you died healthy.

May I have the liberty to advice you ?

My advice to you….Try to live the moment every day,as if you are going to die next minute, instead of expecting/experimenting to be remembered after you die.

Please share your thoughts.

Thank you.

Life is a beautiful lie and death is a painful truth. Do you believe this ??

Yes I feel it is true.

It’s 2.7 minute read.

Life is a beautiful lie:

I can give many examples but a few suffice.

1. Lies are loved and truths are hated.

2. Ugly looking person suffers at every stage.

3. God is remembered only when problems are faced.

4. Every one has a dark secret.

5. Men look at women in ‘sex angle’ irrespective of age or relation.younger the woman better.

6.Money overtakes health, family, friendship and ultimately happiness.

7. Remember people only like you for what you have ,and not for what you are.The more rich you are, greater respect you command.

8. It’s impossible for you to meet your soulmate.twin flame or kindred spirit. All humbug. Each soul is unique,The theories are good for reading and for some one to enact.

9. Appetite grows with wealth.Regarding the nature of appetite ….I leave it to you.

10. Nobody cares for anything until it happens to them.

11. Menstrual cycle ( bleeding ) every month for almost 40 yrs is truly harsh.

12. Life is unfair right from birth, some are born disabled, some born rich, some born poor.

13. You have to live with the constant judgement by others of you .

14.The world is a cruel place.

15. Social media killing people.

16. The person you love most, hurts you a lot.

17. You can’t make every one happy.

18. All good things have to end.

19. People change.Friendship changes.Nothing is permanent.

20. You get what you get ,not what you deserve.

21. Life hurts a lot more than death.

22. Humans are amazing in that their sex is not limited to the same species.

23. The one certainty in life is uncertainty,

24. You only live once, so get used to the gutter.

25. Life is fundamentally sad,but with tinges of happiness.

Death is a painful truth:

1. Whether people be of high or low birth, rich or poor, old or young ,enlightened or confused, they are all alike in that the will one day die. Yamamoto Tsunetomo

2. No body cares to remember you forever after you die.

3. Death is the last intimate thing we ever do. Laurel K Hamilton

4. You can’t prevent death.

5. Death is not painful. But fear of death is painful.

Remember Woody Allen’s famous quote ?

“I am not afraid of death. I just don’t want to be there when it happens.”

Thank you.

Love is not complicated, people are

Love is not complicated ,people are

These daysā€¦relationship meansā€¦ Any where without you is better than any where with you

How individual lives are changing ,relationships are thrown into the dust bin, people forgetting the meaning and value & sacredness of ā€˜LOVEā€™,

Thanks to addiction to social media & smart phones !

Relationships are harder now!

ā€œConversations became texting,

Arguments became phone calls,

Feelings became subliminal messages,

Sex became easy,

The word ā€˜loveā€™ is used out of context.,

Insecurities became a way of thinking,

Getting jealous became a habit,

Trust is hard to come by,

Being hurt became natural.

Leaving became the only option,

Sad but true,

So if you have somethingā€¦that is worth it,..donā€™t take it for granted,

Fight for it,donā€™t let it goā€ Ā  Ā  Ā  pinterest

Summary ā€“

Be selfish, thanks to the inventions. indulge in your liking,Drink till you drop dead, fight without any reason,Ego is your life, jealousy is your partner, Greedy is your nature,Killing innocents is your taste, care not anybody, you owe the happiness you deserve, forget about dieting & exercises which are all money-making machines,,cheating is your mantra, money is everything and enjoy dying your own death, you owe nothing to anybody!

Is this the lesson modern-day life style teaching us ? Is this the meaning of advancement in human life ? Is this what all about relationships ?

And what about ethics, values, respect, responsibilities ,family relationship ?

Please share your thoughts.

Thank you.
