“Everyone must take time to sit and watch the leaves turn” Elizabeth Lawrence
“No spring nor summer beauty hath such grace as I have seen in one autumnal face” John Donne
Autumn is typically seen in Northern India especially north of Delhi.
I can say the rest of the country mostly misses this beautiful transformation of Mother Nature.
Indian Meteorological department describes just 4 seasons for India (Spring, summer, rainy & winter).
So we don’t see Autumn in real.
To be frank, the photographs I provided, no way comes near to the photos of the other participants
In Autumn, we are aware that leaves fall from the trees and trees start bursting into a riot of colours.
In my part of the country not much happens. I am sad.
But I do come across very few trees that follow the typical autumn but not necessarily full-blown colours.
“The trees are about to show us how lovely it is to let the dead things go” Unknown
“How beautifully leaves grow old! How full of light and colour are their last days!” John Burroughs
