“Birds are indicators of the environment. If they are in trouble, we know we’ll soon be in trouble” Roger Tory Peterson

In the above image, you can notice that birds are scattered instead of forming their usual line pattern while flying in a group.

When does such a thing happen?

My friend, it’s because of the noise.

Rising noise levels giving these birds a nightmare.

What is noise pollution?

Noise pollution is harmful noise.

Noise pollution has detrimental results on human health and other living creatures well being.

Noise pollution can result from industrial, transport or simply from the friendly neighbourhood activities.

I further add

✔festival season/celebration noise which mostly includes bursting firecrackers.

✔Wars in various parts of the globe

Bursting crackers in the urban setup

Birds and animals go into panic mode and lose the sense of direction.

Many birds dash against the walls or hit the glass window and die.

One must realise that fireworks are a nightmare for these innocent and beautiful birds.

Many birds die after being hit by a sky cracker and some birds get burnt.

These firecrackers disturb the bird’s daily routine.

Pollutants from these firecrackers are harmful to both humans and rest of the God’s creations.

Please share your thoughts.

Thank you.

Free vs Caged

“Better to be a free dog than a caged lion” Arabian Proverb

For a moment think of your feelings if you are caged.

And if caged forever?

Do you have any idea what bird’s or animal’s feelings when they are caged?

The first thing is they must be wondering whether they will be in the cage forever.

Secondly, they must be wondering when they are going to be killed and eaten.

So throughout.. they are in a state of anxiety.

I know what you are thinking

You are anxious to question… what about many birds singing even when they are in a cage or zoo animals enjoying free dinner and lunch without spending energy as they do in hunting!

My friend read this Gem.

“We think caged birds sing when indeed they cry”. John Webster

Now read this one about animals.

‘Within the prison walls of every zoo sit tortured souls, with empty eyes and broken spirits” Unknown

And some think if at all animals are living it’s because of zoos. Being protected from poachers.

“People forget the good that zoos do. If it weren’t for zoos, we would have so many species that would be extinct today” Betty White

And your thoughts?

How do we differ from God?

“God loved the birds and invented trees. Man loved the birds and invented cages” Jacques Deval

Now coming to our ‘life’ part

Are we free or are we caged?

I am not talking about politics.

The answer is simple. Think Philosophically.

“Sometimes life seems like a poorly designed cage, within which man has been sentenced to be free” Sheldon B Copp

Yes, we are all disappointed at the way, our beloved life treats us. But remember God has provided us with a unique power, known as resilience.

And we live in our hopes, as the poor Coronavirus has realised by experiencing our resilience.

Thank you.

Beautiful view through the gaps of the wooden frame!

Blue sky, lovely clouds and birds resting on the parapet wall having a friendly chat, at the same time enjoying the nature’s beauty.

I wonder always…do they worry about their future just like we do?

My guess is only Humans worry about the future.

Rest of God’s creations don’t even think about it.

“Our anxiety does not come from thinking about the future, but from wanting to control it”   Khalil Gibran

Kinda different

“Birds of the same feather flock together”…is the famous idiom.

But do they also behave similarly?

If you see the photo, you can observe that one bird is not in line with fellow birds and having its own Royal time!

Is this a sign of rebellion or just to prove uniqueness?

“If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know how amazing you can be.”  Maya Angelou

Another Advice

“So you’re a little weird? Work it! A little different? OWN it! Better to be a nerd than one of the herd!”  Mandy Hale

Secret of success

“To be successful, one has to be one of three bees – the queen bee, the hardest working bee, or the bee that does not fit in.”
 Suzy Kassem

What is your type?

“When you are like everyone, you are nobody; but when you are different from everyone, you are somebody!”
Mehmet Murat ildan

What you do if people try to change you?

Very Simple.

“Don’t apologise for being yourself, but ask for apology if they want you to be something else.”
Amit Kalantri

At the same time a word of caution!

“Do not choose to be wrong for the sake of being different”   unknown

Thank you.

What is the difference between humans & Birds?

“Birds have to wings so they fly all together. Humans have two hands, so they clap when another one is in trouble” Jubel Ahmed

“It is entirely possible that you get unpredictable behavior out of predictable rules.” Frank Heppner

Dear Friends, you must be aware of the term Murmuration.

Most of us would have seen murmuration happening in the sky/sea at one time or another.or you might have come across in Geographical Channel

Murmuration is noticed with birds and fishes.

“A flock of birds or fish moving in synchrony in a mesmerizing, pulsating, way pattern putatively to confuse the predators”

Murmuration is done by many species of birds, but the term murmuration is specially used for Starling Flocks.

Hundreds or even thousands of birds/fishes ( Of course birds of the same feather ) flying together in a whirling and ever-changing pattern is a visual treat

Birds/fishes turn and twist and change direction at a moment’s notice. How these hundreds and thousands do these types of maneuvers.

These are highly complicated movements with such precise coordination that too during the flight with amazing speed!

This is a puzzle and my guess is scientists yet to come out with an explanation.

Thank you.
