Do you know that there is a ‘Cow appreciation day‘?

The day is celebrated annually on the 2nd Tuesday in July.

This day is designed to raise awareness about cows and all the good things they do.

Advice from a cow

“Be outstanding in your field

Eat plenty of greens

Take time to ruminate

Know when to hoof it

Swing your tail

It’s OK to be a little moo-dy

Be udderly brilliant” Unknown

Life in colour- Gold

“The statue of the Laughing Buddha act as a good friend. Whenever we are off the track, his smiling face can bring us back to the present moment, to a positive mood” Sakshi Chetana

Take my word, my friend.

You never face any problem in your life if you follow this advice

“Conquer anger with non-anger. Conquer badness with goodness. Conquer meanness with generosity. Conquer dishonesty with the truth” Buddha

I know it’s very difficult to follow.

Anybody can advise.

But this advice is not from an ordinary person.

My friend, just try once and you notice a sea of difference.

You are in total bliss.

Yes, my friend, you need not search for happiness.

Please share your thoughts.

Thank you for visiting my site.

Take care, my friend.

My friend, what are your thoughts on cell phone Photography?

I must confess that most of the cell phone photos I take are substandard as compared to DSLR or Mirrorless cameras.

I have tried many cell phones cameras of a different make.

I am also aware of the technical limits of the cell phone camera.

Ironically high-end cell phones have become costlier than DSLR cameras!

The whole thing boils down to portability, ease of use and multifunctionality

The only advantage with the cell phone is, it’s handy and clicking the photos are much faster even before an outsider realises that a photo is taken.

It’s a boon during street photography since many won’t notice you.

A cell phone is perfectly OK as long as we don’t mind the quality of the image.

But satisfaction with the quality of the photos taken depends on the eyes of the person…beauty in the eyes of the beholder!

Cell phone manufacturers claim that their photos are superior to their competitors.

Coming to my image above

The above image is taken with my One Plus 6 cell phone.

As you can see in the above image, there is a sofa in need of an urgent repair, but kept on the pavement by some unknown.

Maybe it’s kept for transportation to the repair shop or maybe it is thrown out because it’s become junk.

Since it’s on the pavement I guess it’s discarded.

Most of the road users, when they see such things on the pavements, get disgusted or annoyed and curse the maintenance department of the agencies and also the people who threw the sofa irresponsibly.

What is the point I am trying to say?

The point I am stressing here is that nothing goes to waste in this world.

As long it’s there on the pavement, there are lesser fortune people who can have a nap and enjoy the rest of the day.

Any needy can pull up this sofa and have a siesta!

“When life’s problems overwhelming, look around and see what other people are coping with. You may consider yourself fortunate” Ann Landers

Don’t complain.

Either you get a suitable or workable solution to the problem or just shut up (instead of whining).

Monday Motivation

“Imagine there is a bank account that credits your account each morning with £86,400. It carries over no balance from day to day. Every evening the bank deletes whatever part of the balance you failed to use during the day. What would you do? Draw out every penny, of course! Each of us has such a bank. Its name is TIME. Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off as lost, whatever of this you have failed to invest to a good purpose. It carries over no balance. It allows no over draft. Each day it opens a new account for you. If you fail to use the day’s deposits, the loss is yours.”

Cellpic Sunday

As per John Steiner of  JOURNEYS WITH JOHNBO

I encourage fellow bloggers to create their own Cellpic Sunday posts. I never have a specific topic for this feature, and the only rules are that the photo must be captured with a cell phone, iPad, or another mobile device… If you have an image from a drone, that’s acceptable as well. The second rule is to link your challenge-response to this post or leave a comment here with a link to your post in the comment.

Saturday Saying

Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes … the ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules … You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things … They push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius …”

As a third wheel, your job is to take pictures

Remember photography always brings cheers.

If you are not a photographer, just try once.

OK. Why one has to be the third wheel in the first place?

Here Nature plays its role.

Can you expect logic from Nature?

My friend, if you expect anything from nature-you are sadly mistaken.

Life doesn’t care about you.

Hey, life is cruel.

And there is no umpire!

“Nature cares nothing for logic, our human logic: she has her own, which we do not recognize and do not acknowledge until we are crushed under its wheelIvan Turgenev

Can life be impartial?

My friend, you are putting the same question in a different format.

The answer is life is always partial.

And that is the style of functioning of life.

But the thing is life is unfair to all of us.

So it certainly makes life fair. All are equally treated with its unfairness!

So don’t complain…

Any solution?

Since is life is unfair, the only alternative is to be positive.

Hope for the best even during unfairness!

Thank you.

Live in the present🤔

How much worth is the so-called Internet’s bits of Advice?

Are they helping you or confusing you?

Since most of them are not practicable…Then what is the use of these thoughts, my friend?

Everybody is immersed in their own problems and are struggling hard to come out of their dissatisfaction and resulting unhappiness.

Why don’t you accept this fact and carry on as usual?

“The internet is a dangerous place. If you are not careful it will consume you and rob you of your happiness. It can make you angry, jealous, hostile, bitter and lead to the eventual loss of enthusiasm for living your best life. Be wary and avoid overconsumption.”
Germany Kent

Do you really need these pieces of advice?

Don’t you feel that these types of thoughts add insult to your injury?

Are not most of the problems are your own making?

And the irony is, you are the only person and you can be the only person to face these problems and come out successfully to the best of your ability.

Is it not so?

Is there any necessity for you to read or listen and try to follow such advice?

And there are thousands of similar useless advice floating and available freely.

“Never think hard about the past…it brings tears, don’t think more about the future, it brings fears. Live this moment with a smile, it brings cheers” Unknown

Lovely rhyming…tears, fears and cheers! Wow!

At first, this looks very pleasant to read and energetic to follow.

You are excited and start wondering why you never lived in the present!

My friend, this feeling of yours is more dangerous because you think there is no need to worry about past or future… a sort of hara-kiri.

Dear friend, whether you like it or not every moment of your existence… you are in the ‘present’ only and no need to further stress this ‘PRESENT’

My thoughts-

How can we forget our past or past events, be good or bad? If the events are good-nothing wrong with recollecting and feeling happy.

If the events are bad…maybe time to retrospect.

Why should one be denied of thinking of the past?

Now let us come to thoughts on the future.

Let us be realistic my friend.

‘Future’ is nothing but our HOPES. Why should one refuse to think of the future?

My friend if at all we continue to live despite all the hurdles we are facing…the only reason being our ‘hopes’ which sustain us to move forward.

Everyone is aware of  ‘present moments’ and no need to remind the same.

Because of the ‘present moment,’ everybody can plan their ‘future’ based on their ‘past’ experiences.

All of us are being alive at this moment. That is why I am writing this piece and you read it when you make your ‘presence’ to read the same.

This is the truth at this moment.

All of us already living in the ‘present moment’ and are attending to our specified jobs and responsibilities.

Depending on your mood at this particular ‘PRESNT MOMENT” either you are happy or unhappy, excited or drained, hot or cool….

Is it not so?

Then why go on gloating repeatedly about-‘Live in the present’ philosophy?

“As long as we have MEMORIES, Yesterday remains,

And as long as we have ‘HOPE’ tomorrow awaits”  Unknown

Time is ripe for you to Change your view on  ‘LIVE IN PRESENT’

Feel free to express your thoughts.

Thank you.

Thursday Thoughts

Rules of Life

“By the time you learn the rules of life, you’re too old to play the game” Grenville Kleiser

How many rules are there in our life?

I am sure many rules are there in life starting from 3 to 5 to 7 to 10 to 75 to… So many other hundreds of golden rules.

Then you have basic rules of life.

These are all written rules.

What about the unwritten rules? How many are there ?

Somebody jokingly said these unwritten rules are infinite!

Is it possible to lead our life without rules?

I doubt very much.

It leads chaos and confusion.

But majority love-no rules and want freedom.

But then freedom comes with responsibility.

You are tensed because you have a responsibility to fulfil.

you lose your peaceful time.

How to get peaceful life? ( Just 2 rules)

My friend, just follow these two rules.

“Two rules for a peaceful life:

Depression in failure should never go to heart,

And ego in success should never go to the brain”

Dr.A.P.J.Abdul. Abdul Kalam

Are you aware of the basic rules of life? (Just 2 rules)

“Two basic rules of life are: 1) Change is inevitable. 2) Everybody resists change” W.Edwards Deming

Take home message (Just 1 rule)

“The golden rule is that there are no golden rules.”
George Bernard Shaw

My unasked advice (Don’t miss reading)

✔Keep calm and follow the rules.

✔Smile, you don’t own all the problems in the world.

Thank you.

Namaste 🙏🙏🙏
