“Everything happens in the kitchen. Life happens in the kitchen.”  Andrew Zimmern

Eat, drink and be merry.

A general statement for ‘being happy’.

Talk on Kitchen is incomplete if one fails to mention Luciano Pavarotti.

“One of the very nicest things about life is the way we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing and devote our attention to eating.” Luciano Pavarotti

But we know that it is possible only when someone knows the art of ‘cooking’ so that rest of us can eat, drink and be merry.

This somebody can be your better half, girl friend, boyfriend, or a professional.

What is my philosophy?

Always ‘Kiss’ the cook. But for the cook, you would not have enjoyed the day.

Happiness is when someone praises your cooking.

But the kitchen is also the place for different odours.

“The best way to get rid of kitchen odours: Eat out”. Phyllis Diller

The kitchen also is the place that brings families and friends together.

Apart from the kitchen room and cook, kitchen utensils are equally important and play a major role.

Utensils are the soul of food

Lens Artists Photo Challenge #137 – Soft

Flying seed

You might have come across these flying seeds since they are dispersed by the wind.

The seeds are light and have feathery, soft bristles that help the seed to fly long distances by the wind.

The idea is, these seeds can land in a suitable place and can grow.

The bristles attached to the seed are too soft and a single breath from a child can send dozens of seeds floating in the air for dispersal.

Now coming to softness…

Who is the softest of all?

Who else it can be!

“Women are so caring, kindhearted and soft creatures; I wonder how one could harm or hurt them for any reason.”
M.F. Moonzajer

Thank you.
