“I am fond of pigs. Dogs look up to us. Cats look down to us. Pigs treat us as equal” Winston Churchill
By deciding and calling somebody or something ugly…are we not questioning the Wisdom of Almighty?
Do ever the so called Ugly Persons think that he or she is ugly?
The whole world is obsessed with ‘beauty’
I can never know why people like what they like and decide to differentiate between ugly & beauty.
Maybe advertising beauty products is one of the reasons? I am not sure. But one thing I am sure of obsession with being beautiful is a sure recipe for low self-esteem.
“No matter how ugly you are; there is always someone who sees his heaven in your eyes.” M.F. Moonzajer
Definition of Ugly
Dictionary.com says
- Very unattractive or unpleasant to look at; offensive to the sense of beauty; displeasing in appearance.
- Disagreeable; unpleasant; objectionable: ugly tricks; ugly discords
- Morally revolting: Ugly crimes
- Threatening trouble or danger: ugly symptoms.
- Mean; hostile; quarrelsome. an ugly mood; an ugly frame of mind.
- (especially of natural phenomena) unpleasant or dangerous: ugly weather; an ugly sea
Appearance
Unfortunately we always mean ugly, in terms of one’s appearance.
Sadly we extend the notion of beauty to the animal kingdom too!
Can anything escape the human eye?
Now coming to the topic…
Are pigs ugly?
No, my friend.
All creations of God are beautiful.
Pigs are not ugly by appearance.
My guess is they are called ugly may be due to the garbage they eat or being fat and overweight and most importantly they enjoy playing in the dirty mud.
But we forget that that is what pigs are supposed to be.
“A pig has its own nature; no one can take that away from him, it can’t be changed, why blame the poor thing?” Unknown
Take home message
“Don’t look for a pretty face- it will turn old one day
Don’t look for good skin- it will turn wrinkle one day
Don’t look for a hot body- it will change one day
Don’t look for nice hair- it will turn white one day
Instead, look for a loyal heart- that will love every day” unknown
Thank you.
Namaste 🙏🙏🙏
