You must be aware of the ‘Ripples of life’.That is…. every life affects another.Simply your actions are responsible for what is happening around you…whether it is  good or bad.

Try to be good,kind,compassionate and radiate your sweet smile.You get back the the echoes much stronger.

Examples. 

Rumors will have ripple effects, so do not spread the rumors and remember, lynching happened.

‘Why not me God’ instead of ‘Why me God’ ?

All Gods

I asked God,”why are you taking me through troubled water” ? He replied ” because your enemies can’t swim”  unknown

Are you depressed ?

I know you.

Many times you felt depressed whenever you think of the things happening to you.

You are  also finding it difficult to come out of the mess you created.You think none of it is due to your fault.

You start wondering why these things happen to you only time and again !!

You are wondering whether there is any meaning to your life.

Life owes us little; We owe it everything.

The only true happiness comes from squandering  ourselves for a purpose”    William Cowpe

Everyone has to face some problem or other

Describing somebody that ‘the fellow is born with a silver spoon’ is utter rubbish.

Everybody has to undergo suffering.

Whether the person suffers from cancer or just mild fever, or any other reason doesn’t matter.

Whether the person is rich or poor, doesn’t matter.

Good or bad doesn’t matter.

Whether the person is pious or unholy,doesn’t matter.

Whether the person is criminal or law-abiding doesn’t matter.

Whether the person is moral or immoral doesn’t matter.

Whether a newborn suffers or a 100+ old person suffers doesn’t matter.

I can go on and on…

The point I am trying to stress is, there is no escape from suffering once you are born

The only difference is, some suffer more and some suffer less.

Again I don’t have an answer.

When one suffers, the first question one puts invariable is “Oh God ! why me ?” as if one is pure (at heart on par with Almighty), and the rest of the population deserves to suffer.

Remember there are others in this world, whose suffering is more than yours.

Instead, why can’t one boldly say ” why not me ?”

By saying so, Are we not gaining confidence in ourselves to face the eventuality?

To be frank, why should one get an exemption from suffering in one’s life?

Is this not God’s way of telling us to be

  1. Brave,
  2. Develop courage,
  3. Search for solutions( inventions,science etc)
  4. Improve inner strength,
  5. Understand the meaning of life ( philosophy)
  6. Know the value of time.

So we are thankful to the Almighty for allowing us to survive and gain strength from suffering.

Take home message

When life puts you in tough situations,don’t say “why me “? Just say “Try me”    unknown

We all had our own agenda,new year resolutions,plans,goals,promises,decisions,vows  and achievements…what not !

National Stress Awareness Day April 16 th

In these days of pandemic, one urgently needs some kind of self enhancing humor.

Social media is flooded with memes,jokes and GIFs to lower the level of anxiety.

“Love knows no borders, neither do people with coronavirus,”

Some say this is not the time for laughter.

By watching these Gifs,jokes or memes etc, don’t get angry and add more stress !!

Using art and humor is one of the ways to calm the tense mind.

National stress awareness day is celebrated across USA ( 16 th April ) and it’s so apt in the present day situation.

April month is also said to be National Stress Awareness Month.May be… the day and month can differ in each country, I am not sure.

What is stress ?

In a medical or biological context stress is a physical, mental, or emotional factor that causes bodily or mental tension. Stresses can be external (from the environment, psychological, or social situations) or internal (illness, or from a medical procedure). And during these Corona Days ?

Of course plenty of material available on the web,how not to get stressed in times of pandemic.

Simple methods include

  • Daily exercises,healthy diet
  • Enjoying the unique opportunity given to us in the form of having ‘break’,which otherwise you can never dream of
  • Having good sleep,avoiding alcohol & other addictions
  • Being in constant touch with our near & dear
  • Realize that you are not alone to undergo anxiety these days
  • Accepting that ‘Life’ is full of uncertainties
  • Be kind to yourself
  • Learn to ‘Take it easy’ attitude
  • Realize that you can’t control everything
