With the selfies, a photographer has finally found his place in a photograph. Amit Kalantri
Professional Photographers can make a real kill, because of selfies.
As an amateur photographer,I realized that selfie makes one’s life miserable.
1.Selfies distort your face by 30 % .The truth is you look ugly.people are dejected for this and try to avoid the world.
2.Selfie face distortion making people do nose jobs and plastic surgeons have become busy .Some body even inventing app( commercialization),which is supposed to correct the distortion
3. People becoming obsessed and in the process getting depressed.
4. As a medical professional,I can tell you that regular usage of selfie can give you SELFIE WRIST, an emerging hazard in this digital era.Selfie wrist causes pain, numbness and tingling sensation in the hand.( carpal tunnel syndrome)
Doctor warns-rise in cases of selfie wrist
5.Hundreds and thousands are getting killed while trying to take selfies with India in the lead, followed by Russia.USA and Pakistan.

Hand to shoulder
Always wonder what makes the INDIVIDUAL to put hand on other’s shoulder !
What is the feeling that makes one to do like this ?
Does this indicate closeness or even comfort level or a kind of assurance….I am not sure.
I am curious whether this kind of behavior seen in Western countries.
Westerners can give more insight into this aspect of human behaviour.
Old age is far more than white hair, wrinkles, the feeling that it’s too late, and the game is finished, that the stage belongs to the rising generations. The true evil is not the weakening of the body, but the indifference of the soul. ‘Andre Maurois’
When do you say A person is ‘Old’ ?
Is there any criterion ? What is your definition of old age ?
Any one is happy/unhappy being referred as ‘Senior citizen’ ?Does criteria differs from country to country?
I don’t have ready answers.May be you have an answer. So let me know.My point here is irrespective of the age,why senior people are looked down and not given the respect they deserve?
Also why old people ( I mean who can afford ) are busy dying the hair, undergoing cosmetic surgery etc ? One can always age gracefully ! Daniel Klein ( Travels with Epicurus 2012) advises slowing down, enjoying play and focusing on relationship.
