World Mental Health Day Oct 10,2020

“Unease, anxiety, tension, stress, worry – all forms of fear – are caused by too much future, and not enough presence. Eckhart Tolle

The present economic impact due to COVID has become an added stress on the people.

Silent psychological suffering has become acute and mandatory quarantine making people go crazy as they are left alone.

Domestic violence is said to reach its peak.

Many are experiencing anxiety, depression, and  some becoming insomniacs.

People from all walks of life are suffering at present.

People need psychosocial support for Mental well-being.

This Year Theme is “Mental Health for All. Greater Investment-Greater Access”

” You don’t have to struggle in silence. You can be un-silent. You can live well with a mental health condition, as long as you open up to somebody about it”  Demi Lovato

Always we have to open up.One must freely discuss the problems with the psychologists, mental health experts and professionals and not to feel shy or cocoon oneself.

Wishing my WP readers a strong ‘mental health’ to cope with all sorts of stress.

Thank you.

“You never know…what you have … Until it’s gone!!

Of course in the initial days of the COVID pandemic, you knew the story of people hoarding toilet rolls madly for unknown reasons, and as expected that was trending on the social media!

Truth– You knew exactly what you had: You just thought you would never lose it!

We know the value of what we possess or have… but strangely we take things for granted, even ignore them, treat them shitty and get disappointed and upset mentally, when what we have is no more available!!

What is this ( tissue paper analogy ) to do with our daily lives?

I am exactly coming to that point, my friend,

” Value of a relationship is not how much one feels happy with a person, but it’s the emptiness that one feels without that person “ unknown

Count your blessings!!

Thank you.

Goodbye July 2020

“Never say goodbye because goodbye means going away and going away means forgetting.” J.M. Barrie

But this time we love to say goodbye to Corona pandemic!

As we move into the remaining part of 2020, we can’t forget the havoc, COVID- pandemic is causing,we really don’t mind to bid goodbye to COVID- wholeheartedly.

At the same time, we are wondering, why the time is flying so fast and we can’t just do anything about this.

COVID was a surprise shock, though it caused many good souls to depart to Heavenly Abode, it also gave us courage and resilience to survive.

Our allotted lifetime is also getting reduced at every Sunset with hopes of a better future at the beginning of every Sunrise.

I tell you the secret as to why life always F***S us?

“There’s a “hell” in hello, “good” in goodbye, “lie” in believe, “over” in a lover, “end” in a friend, “if” in life.” Unknown

Take home message

Sometimes having to say goodbye is what is needed the most and perfectly fits the present scenario

Thank you. Namaste 🙏🙏🙏

Good bye May

Good bye May and hello June !

“Goodbyes make you think. They make you realize what you’ve had, what you’ve lost, and what you have taken for granted” Ritu Ghatourey

May month was the hardest and harshest so far in 2020 events and you know by now, all due to Corona .

What is the effect of Corona Virus?

“You’ve changed me forever. And I’ll never forget you.” Kiera Cass,

We are aware of the extreme suffering in all aspect of life caused by the deadly Corona Virus.

But as humans, we are vibrant and resilient and we are slowly getting used to the new life, and by now we are aware that, World is not going to be the way it was…

Are you scared that ‘History repeats itself ?’.No my friend, this time we will be cautious and respectful to Mother Nature

The first Five months 2020 has taught us life’s Real lessons.

we know the lessons by now, by heart.

No more need to listen to Gurus,Pundits, influencer or experts to give us lessons !

What did Corona teach us? (20 minimum lessons)

  1. Learn to respect Mother Nature
  2. Stage is reached where in Mother Nature has started to speak to us directly
  3. Prepare for unknown eventualities
  4. ‘Mundane life’ which we all complain has become more important and relevant
  5. Realize the importance of water. Don’t waste a single drop. (regular washing of hands important and you need water for this)
  6. How fragile the economy can become. Don’t waste money 💰 on things which are not necessary for you to lead a simple life
  7. Change in our social behavior ( avoiding handshakes, wearing masks, physical distancing, isolation and quarantine )
  8. No more air pollution
  9. Never go for a loan if you know that you can’t repay it on time
  10. Keep an emergency fund and never drain it for wasteful expenditure
  11. Remember, tomorrow is not promised, enjoy today to best of your abilities
  12. Spare time for your near and dear. Don’t give excuses to your partner / spouse / children
  13. Life is unpredictable. Remember that you are on your own (YOYO)
  14. Remember Health is wealth and avoid junk 🥘 and do regular but minimum exercises.
  15. If you are alive today, express your GRATITUDE
  16. Sharing & caring is an important aspect of human life. Don’t be greedy
  17. Family is the most important thing in our life. Friends are helpful to some extent only
  18. Corona brought out the worst in the people and also best in the people
  19. The only things we need in our life is our family
  20. Power of nature is bigger than the combined force of science and technology

I can go on…. the list is long.

Take home message

Never plan for your future or regret the past.Enjoy the present moment as it happens.

Which one of the 20 points resonate with you?
