Stillness in motion!

Fallen-tree

For Denzil’s Nature photo challenge-Trees, I wished to convey the message differently.

Only when we physically witness a fallen tree we do ponder.

The above image is of a fallen tree on the river bank.

What are your thoughts when you see a fallen giant tree?

I am not sure how you react.

My thoughts

I’m filled with awe and admiration because mother nature’s power amazes me.

I am appreciative of the aesthetic value that trees add to our world.

I feel saddened by the loss of a living thing.

Huge trees represent endurance and resiliency in metaphor. Storms and other challenges have been faced by them for generations.

Don’t you realize for a second that life is so fragile?

Environmental impact

We all know that the diminishing tree population has an ecological implications.

Those who rely on these trees for their survival may struggle.

It also serves as a reminder of the need to preserve our natural resources.

Message

“Each time you read a book, a tree smiles knowing there’s life after death.” Unknown

Thank you for your visit.

Take care, my friend.

Namaste 🙏🙏🙏

  1. When I last walked through Bellahouston Park I was shocked and upset by the amount of destruction amongst the trees. Some may have been storm damage but there were also too many destroyed by disease. It was heartbreaking to see so much destruction 💔
