If you look closely, the pattern on the wings appears to be asymmetrical in contrast to the wings of a butterfly.
Why this artist unnaturally drew this?
I don’t have an answer since I am not an artist.

PTP, Thank you for your PPAC contribution. What a lovely butterfly mural. My thoughts are that the asymmetry is from the artist’s free style and that makes the drawing visually more interesting.
