My thoughts
Being in the medical field, I constantly see people’s fear when they have health problems or the loss of a loved one. It’s quite dismal.
As we witness this, we understand human emotions better.
Though we know that health problems or death are inevitable at some stage, we fear the very thought of death.
People are also scared of the type and nature of death.
First people start wondering, sometimes they curse God, and many a time they scream why me? There can’t be a possible explanation. And that is the way of life. And you can’t argue or complain.
“Life is pleasant. Death is peaceful. It’s the transition that’s troublesome.” Isaac Asimov
Our upbringing
Right from childhood we are not encouraged to talk about it.
Many elders say that they don’t mind instant death but they are scared of prolonged illness, dependency and helplessness.

Is it possible?
Much easier said than done.
How to take things easy?

Don’t get scared of death!
Embrace your life, and do the best you can with your life because when it’s over..it’s really over. There is no afterlife or paradise.
