Life is all about finding your flow

Water

The concept of flow

The concept of “flow” refers to the state of being completely absorbed and fully immersed in an activity, where time seems to fly by and all distractions fade away.

When you find your flow, you tap into your natural strengths and abilities and experience a sense of fulfilment and purpose.

How to find the flow?

Finding your flow can be a lifelong pursuit, and involves

  • Self-exploration
  • Discovering your passions
  • Taking steps to align your life with your unique rhythm

How to go with the flow?

We all forget one thing about life’s flow.

My friend, flow is nothing but your mindset.

Your success or failure depends on your mindset.

“When you are in your flow, you are in harmony with the universe.” Unknown

The image

Of course, this is not an extraordinary image, yet it conveys something important.

Just notice the above image of a waterfall and how water is managing its flow forwards despite the obstacles in the form of huge stones, slabs and impossible directions!

The water never complains! Never gets depressed!

The water just tries and finds the best route available to the best of its knowledge, based on the prevailing conditions.

Acceptance

This reminds us to let whatever happens with acceptance.

The idea here is just to live with the moment and enjoy that part of life irrespective of the events since nothing is under your control.

If things are not as per your expectations, this is the time to think of your motivations, their purpose and how best to achieve the things, at the same time accepting the possible outcomes.

Motivation

So if you want to be part of your life’s flow-you must tune your mindset to a ‘motivation mode’.

Motivation plays a significant role in finding and maintaining your flow in life.

When you are motivated, you are driven to pursue your goals and passions, and you are more likely to experience a sense of purpose and fulfilment.

Motivation provides the energy and enthusiasm needed to overcome challenges and stay focused on your objectives. It can help you stay committed to your goals, even when the going gets tough.

Message

I repeat what I already mentioned just to stress these points.

  1. Self-discovery
  2. Identifying your passions
  3. Taking action to adjust your life to fit your individual rhythm

These three are the basic steps in finding your flow, which can be a lifelong endeavour.

Thank you for your visit.

Take care, my friend.

Namaste 🙏🙏🙏

  1. Great post! Finding and maintaining the state of flow is so important for a fulfilling life. I particularly enjoyed the metaphor with the waterfall and the reminder to accept what happens in life with grace. My question for you is: have you ever experienced a time when you felt stuck and unable to find your flow? And if so, how did you overcome it? Thank you for sharing your insights with us.

    1. Thank you, my friend.
I experienced such a situation on many occasions.
Whenever I feel helpless, I just pray for the best and just leave it.
You don’t believe it if I say, either the problem disappears on its own or I get an opportunity later with a perfect solution.
      Namaste from India.

  2. I like the way you have put these things together Philo. Motivation isn’t constant, but working with self-discovery and reminding oneself of our passions and why we’re doing something might just help with motivation. Hope you’re having a good Sunday my friend
