“A great way to learn about your country is to leave it.”
He says once you leave your country, you learn better about your country.
Is it a must to travel abroad to get a better understanding of your own country?
Do you agree with this above quote?
I am not sure, maybe I am confused as usual.
Is this a positive statement or a negative statement?
What are your thoughts?
“An airport is a place where you go through hell to reach your alleged paradise.”
Airports are interesting in one way
“Airports see more sincere kisses than wedding halls.
The walls of hospitals have heard more prayers than the walls of churches.”

From my own experience, I’d have to agree. It wasn’t until I moved away from the place I grew up in that I realized how much I did not know. 😊

Yes, Tron.
Moving away give us innumerable opportunities to learn more about out our place.
Thank you.

Interesting thoughts. I have always thought of airports and subway stations as stages. The people enter, interact then exit. The colorful padding on the seats contrasts with the industrial feel of the place.
