Failure is a stepping stone to success-Arianna Huffington

Stepping-stones

Obstacles, obstacles and obstacles!

You get annoyed, even depressed whenever you come across obstacles, whatever may be the form and whatever may be the situation.

What would you do in these circumstances?

Either you try to avoid the obstacle or remove the same.

How easy or difficult depends on your mindset and your thoughts on the outcome.

Most of the time you are confused and look for some help.

How to proceed?

“The best way to treat obstacles is to use them as stepping-stones.

Laugh at them, tread on them, and let them lead you to something better”

Enid Blyton

Sadly you never laughed at your obstacles.

You grumbled, screamed, banged your head and even cried.

You suddenly remembered God from nowhere!

Do you curse others for all the happenings in your life?

My friend, it’s a human tendency to blame others for everything that is happening to you as long as things don’t go as per your plans.

You blame your parents, siblings, friends, relatives, superiors, inferiors, people, government, leaders, saints, teachers and all those whom you seek for advice.

Everybody is to be blamed except you.

The best part is nothing can go wrong with you.

You are always correct, perfect and the best.

You are a gem 💎

My friend, you may be surprised to know that, you are the reason for your failures.

How is this possible, you might be wondering

“In Zen, there is an old saying: The obstacle is the path.

Know that whole and happy life is not free of obstacles.

Quite the contrary, whole and happy life is riddled with obstacles-they simply become the very stepping stones that help lift us to a new perspective.

It is not what happens to us in this life that shapes us, it is how we choose to respond to what happens to us.”

Dennis Merritt Jones

Message

“You build on failure.

You use it as a stepping stone.

Close the door on the past.

You don’t try to forget the mistakes, but you don’t dwell on it.

You don’t let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space.”

Johnny Cash

Thank you for your visit.

Take care, my friend.

  1. I’m also thinking that while some things might be attributable to others, how we choose to respond is within our control. The power lies in how we respond to these obstacle – or challenges. I see challenges as something to be overcome, rather than a reason to give up
