Are grownups today any different from children?
“Minimize your kids’ playtime possessions and you may find that they become less selfish and less materialistic, cherish more and take better care of the toys they do have and have more time for reading, writing, art, and imaginative play.
They might spend more time with real live human beings. They might even go outdoors!”
Are adults at fault?
“Children have a deep devotion to life and this devotion is beautifully expressed through free play.
Objects of play should be as simple as possible, to allow the power of imagination to flourish. Buying ‘perfect’, expensive toys, rob the children of an ability to see beauty in a stone or a shell.”
Do you agree?

unstructured play and to have the opportunity to use their imagination and creativity. The concept of minimalism in toys and playthings has been gaining traction in recent years, and it is encouraging to see more parents and caregivers embracing this approach.

Thank yu very much for helping me understand better.
The lack of brightness (flashy) and noise from these toy scan help the child focus more effectively.
I often notice that children’s rooms are overrun with toys.
Namste.

I’d rather children play with toys then rely on a phone or ipad.
