External wounds
External wounds are easy to heal. Why?
Because they heal automatically as time passes.
No doubt the scar remains.
How about internal wounds?
Here one does not see a scar.
I am not talking about those internal wounds that can result from impaired immune or nervous system functions or decreased supply of blood or internal injury etc.
I am talking about emotional wounds making you the prisoner of the past.
These wounds can make you weak, anxious and even become hopeless.
This wound can be from one source or multiple sources.
I won’t go into the specifics of these injuries.
These wounds are caused to you for no fault of yours.
Any possible solutions?
My friend, you are the writer of your story.
Don’t let these wounds fester.
What best can you do?
Just forgive.
Don’t say it’s easy to forgive but difficult to forget.
“Forgiveness offers the possibility of two types of peace: peace of mind – the potential healing of old emotional wounds, and peace with others – the possibility of new, more gratifying relationships in the future”
Kenneth Pargament
Message
“There is such a thing as emotional rubbish;
It is produced in the factories of the mind.
It consists of pain that has long since passed and is no longer useful.
It consists of precautions that were important in the past, but that serve no purpose in the present”
Paulo Coelho
Thank you for your visit.
