Everything happens for a reason, even bad things-Rick Riordan

An accident waiting to happen!!

We frequently encounter circumstances where we are conscious of the possibility of or predisposition for mishaps.

But still, accidents do happen.

Am I responsible for this? Or somebody has to take responsibility?

Things are easy to debate which can never end!

We always blame each other.

Is it not a fact that I can be careless leading to an accident?

Or accident can happen to me because of somebody and I happened to be at the wrong place and at the wrong time. (though my fault, not under my control)

In both situations why I should not blame myself instead of blaming others?

Manhole Cover

Manhole-cover

This manhole cover is dangerously protruding out instead of being properly closed.

Luckily this gentleman has noticed the same and avoided it.

Others may not be this lucky.

Anything can happen anytime, more so during Sunset and beyond.

All of us scream that people are supposed to be responsible for their responsible roles in their lives.

But are things that simple?

Despite showing the greatest responsibility from all the quarters concerned, yet…accidents do happen.

Can we avoid accidents totally?

It’s not possible.

But one can make sincere and best possible efforts.

Beyond this, things are in His hand.

What about people telling you everything happens for a reason?

Is this sentiment the correct one?

Can we blame ourselves for no fault of ours?

Can we explain?

“There are no accidents.

There is only some purpose that we have not yet understood” Unknown

What exactly are ‘Accidents’?

“They’re funny things, Accidents. You never have them till you’re having them”

Message

“I wouldn’t change anything.

I think that it’s important to let things happen and stay ‘happened’.

I think that’s all part of the learning curve, part of fate. I’m just glad that it happened”

My thoughts

Accidents that happen to us make us better human beings.

What  are your thoughts?

Thank you for your visit.

  1. Being accident-free is a matter of risk management… no, we can’t prevent all accidents, but careful attention to tasks can eliminate many potential accidents.
Most accidents are the result of a chain of circumstances. Breaking the chain anywhere along the way avoids a negative outcome. The trick is in knowing that the chain has begun.

    1. I agree to the idea of a chain of circumstances. We can take actions to reduce the risk, but I don’t think its always possible to eliminate all risk of accident 100%. The key thing is, where possible, to learn from the accidents so we don’t experience the same one a second time

      1. It is not possible to eliminate all risks, but taking care of being aware of your surroundings will go a long way toward breaking any potential chains.

I recently saw a meme that made me chuckle. It was a photo of a sign that said
        ACCIDENT FREE SINCE
Joe left (was written in a marker.)

        1. I agree. I recently had a tumble on the train I was travelling on. I had my trolley case on the floor in front of me when the train driver hit the breaks. I had nowhere to put my feet to rebalance and the chair back was too far away … so I went over the bag and landed face down, flat out … so glad no-one was around to see it. It was a painful experience, but I’ve learned, and next time I’ll put the bag on the table to pack up

  2. Maybe everything does happen for a reason, but it’s still some of the worst advice you can give somebody who has been through something bad.

It’s hard to find anything good in being defrauded out of our life savings and retirement with that house purchase a year ago… Or knowing that now we’ll be working until our dying day.

    1. Agree.
We can never understand certain aspects of life and certain happenings in life.
      There are no answers.
But hope gives you some breathing time, and who knows that you are soon going to hit the jackpot!😃😃
      Yes things are possible.
      Have patience, my friend.
      Life is like that only.
      Shocks and pleasant surprises!!
And they alternate and now your turn to wait for the surprise!
      Wishing a stress free 2023.
