VARICOSE VEIN
The majority of you may be familiar with this ailment where the veins (blue coloured blood channels) on the thigh or leg swollen and tortuous beneath the skin.
Varicose veins can be in the milder form (spider veins- a cosmetic concern) or advanced version (happens because the majority ignore and delay the treatment in the earlier stages) causing aching pain, and extreme discomfort that can also lead to clot formation, a dangerous complication.
Causes
- Commonly seen in people due to their body posture, either sitting or standing for long periods
- Other causes include pregnancy, obesity and a family history of varicose veins

WORM
Are you scared of creepy creatures?
Are you aware of the term SCOLECIPHOBIA?
It’s an irrational fear of worms.
Millipedes are often called 1000-leg worms. (actually, the number of legs may vary from 36 to 400 depending on the species) and the name was said to be a misnomer till, in 2021, scientists have come across a species of millipede known by the name EUMILLIPES having 1306 legs.
This Millipede in the image has a smooth black body with patches of yellow marked along its sides. They are not harmful to humans. Millipedes have TWO PAIRS OF LEGS from each body segment.
Why this creepy worm exists?
My friend, every creature of God has some purpose for its existence.
These creatures are strong soil nutrition builders. They are natural decomposers.
They recycle nutrients and aerate the soil. (composting)
If you come across them, don’t kill them just because you fear them.
“Every creature was designed to serve a purpose. Learn from animals for they are there to teach you the way of life. There is a wealth of knowledge that is openly accessible in nature.
Our ancestors knew this and embraced the natural cures found in the bosoms of the earth. Their classroom was nature. They studied the lessons to be learned from animals.
Much of human behaviour can be explained by watching the wild beasts around us. They are constantly teaching us things about ourselves and the way of the universe, but most people are too blind to watch and listen.”
