In the image, you can see three circular lights and three mannequins.
Before you proceed further, again concentrate while going through the image.
Did you find anything interesting?
Nothing great. Is it not so?
I tell you what I observed.
These circular tube lights are gradually decreasing in size from front to back.
Two mannequins are in a standing position and one mannequin is in a sitting posture.
Closely observe the faces of mannequins.
Two mannequins have an absent right eye.
One mannequin has an absent left eye.
Is any significance attached?
Do you have any idea?
Any advertisement tricks? Any artistic design?
I don’t know.
Eye Sockets of Mannequins
Are you aware that some retailers watch their customers using mannequins with eye socket cameras?
What is the purpose? Is this a cool idea or a creepy one?
It was originally intended to catch criminals.
It’s said that these days, retailers are using this for profiling the customers regarding approximate age, race and gender and what particular time the visitors prefer shopping and how long they spend around a display etc.
These are the days of NEURO-MARKETING, my friend.
As technology is advancing, it appears these mannequin cameras can ‘eavesdrop’ on passers-by and store owners can even hear what customers are discussing.
Do you feel this violates shoppers’ privacy?
This YouTube clip was produced in 2012 and now we are 10 years ahead in technology.
STILL YOU EXPECT PRIVACY?
You opened your private book voluntarily.
The moment you are in touch with the internet, your privacy is dead.
WHAT IS THAT THEY, PROFILE ABOUT YOU?
The following things are the minimum, the internet can digitalize your profile. (Whether you like it or not)
Your age, gender, your address, e-mail, phone number, the device you are using, political and religious affiliations, marital status, other relationships, who you are, what you look like (selfie craze doing great harm), the names of your friends and other associates, their details, not just that…your personal habits, foods, movies, books, hobbies, the restaurants and stores you visit, your vacation searches and your travel plans and travel history and much more.
The apps on your mobile can profile more than 24 aspects of your life.
Whatever interactions you do in your email are never private.
If this is the case… do you still expect privacy?
My friend, privacy is long dead.
WHO IS AT FAULT?
“The question isn’t, ‘What do we want to know about people?’,
It’s, ‘What do people want to tell about themselves?’

Interesting Trio, Philo and great observations for detail. I had no idea about the cameras in mannequins. What a world we live in.

And yet, the ads they pile on me are about things that I have bought already. Poor strategy, it may be months before I will buy toothpaste again, and I will have forgotten the ads. My appearance and demeaner says “not a buyer” – and that is how I want it. Heavy advertising costs mean non-competitive prices or lesser quality. I do keep that in mind when shopping. Others will catch on.

Thank you so much, Ludwig Keck.
Appreciate you taking the time to give your valuable opinion.
You are right.
These advertisements make one go crazy.
And they are also at the cost of quality as you rightly said.
Many times I come across irrelevant advertisements that pop up like a tornado and cause eye strain and we may lose concentration on what we intend to do.
Happy holidays
