I was not sure about the quote.
I feel waiting can make a person learn patience or become restless with anxiety.
Another aspect is, one can also get disappointed when the purpose of waiting is not achieved.
I was not sure why this lady is waiting for someone or something but I am sure that her resting on the bollard is definitely not comfortable.
What about waiting in life?
Luckily you are given a choice.

Waiting can also lead to procrastination and self-doubt if taken too far.
Like all tools, waiting requires wisdom to know how and when to use it properly.

Celebrating each special day is a great idea.
My mother, may she rest in peace, had a photo of her piano teacher, given to her after her recital at the end of 4th grade, with the inscription, “All good things are worth the wait, and if you deserve them, you get them.”

Love the inscription.
Your mother was lucky to have such a wonderful teacher just like me having a lovely teacher in the USA.
Thank you Dolly.

An interesting image and quotation. I didnt see the woman as waiting. I imagined her sitting, maybe to rest, and to take in the view and appreciate the cathedral or church in front of her. Contemplating her journey and where she’s going next

Thank you Brenda.
You are right.
Actually the lady was just waiting for her people to come and join her.
