Think for a second
“It’s like a jar of salad dressing sitting on a shelf… most of the seasoning settles to the bottom of the bottle.
But when you shake that bottle up, all the ingredients mix together and then the dressing can add flavor to a salad.
In the same way, we can stir ourselves up and regain the reverence, respect and awe we once had for the Lord”
Joyce Meyer
Don’t be adamant!
“All cultures have things to learn from all other cultures.
Don’t get stuck in your culture! Go beyond it! Get out of your aquarium; get out of your farm; get out of your castle; break your bell jar!
Give chance to other cultures and other opinions!
This is the best way for you to see the insufficiencies, absurdities and stupidities in your culture!”
Mehmet Murat ildan

I love the ideas and metaphors … I even loved the salad dressing jar. It is beautiful.
I agree, there’s so much richness to be had from diversity and mixing cultures

It’s one of the things I do like about online communities, we are so diverse and we can learn so much from each other. Both our experiences and what life is like – similarities and differences. But if we open our minds, we can also learn how to think differently, to see things/life, from a different perspective

Could not agree more Brenda.
Right from child hood our curriculum should include how to be openminded.
