Torn clothe irony
“When the poor wear torn clothes, people make fun. When the rich wear torn clothes, people call it fashion” Nidhi Yadav
And life is weird.
Life is a tragedy, my friend. Don’t get disheartened. You are not alone. Humans sail in the same boat!
The truth is tragedy defines who you are and accept this.
“It is not triumph which defines a man, but tragedy. Triumph always brings out the best in men, but tragedy shows us what we are made of.”
Doughnut- is it a cake or bread?
I don’t know.
If you are a lover of sweets, I am sure you are tempted after seeing the doughnut.
Nothing wrong with indulging in Heavenly taste!
How to resist this temptation if one is a diabetic?
There is a simple solution.
“The only way to get rid of temptation is to yield to it’ Oscar Wilde
Thank you for your visit.
Take care, my friend.

Wise words, as always, Philo. I love that opening quote. The torn fabric is really lovely. And the chocolate donut…um!!

Philo – only YOU would feature a donut in a texture challenge LOL!!! Loved your opening image which is perfect for the week, and as always your thoughtful commentary.. BTW just so you know, I can comment on you in the reader but when I visit your blog I cannot get to your current post. I get a blank page. Not sure why that is and yours is the only blog where it happens.

Thank you Tina Schell for your kind words.
I was a bit hesitant about Doughnut.
Let me check with the happiness Engineer about my blog post being
Blank.
Thanks a ton for bringing this to my notice.

I wonder whether they make sugar free donuts commercially. If so, temptation will definitely be irresistible.
I also wonder why life is a tragedy. Would He have created us and placed us here on His Earth just to suffer atragedy?

Thank you, Dolly.
Sugar-free doughnuts are available commercially.
Life is not a tragedy.
Humans make it a tragedy because humans always want more and more and in the process suffer.
Apart from this, there is another kind of human suffering for which nobody knows the reason and only the Almighty can explain.
But how He explains and makes people understand better is a million-dollar question.
As per Lord Krishna, nobody can question the Wisdom of Almighty… and that is it!

I agree. I am not a big doughnut fan; the comment was simply in the interest of those who are but need to watch their sugar intake.

Love the holey cloth – the doughnut though is just pure evil. (Saying that I don’t actually like doughnuts, but I do like chocolate…. ) 😋
Thanks for sharing Philo xx

Love your quotes just as much as your images, Philo. The first one is perfect. And – Life is a tragedy. I try to live in my own family bubble enjoying the little things when I can. Finding joy in the short moments of love.

Always inspired my friend. Thank goodness life is weird or I wouldn’t make it. As for tragedy? Sure spoke to me today as we buried my dad yesterday. It was interesting to see how we all handled this day. A testament to character and a true reflection of who we are in the tough times. Enjoy your day.

I am so sorry Donna.
Rest in peace.
Dad had left so many wonderful moments and we are going to cherish.
Memories of our elders will be there all the time to guide us.
And we become much stronger during tough times.
Thank you Donna.
