A Zoo-tiful day!

“When we look at nature, we see ourselves” Elliot Connor

Sadly, we don’t have much to see ourselves because there is no wildlife in my city.

The only place available is to have a glimpse into the zoo.

  1. Wow Philo, your challenge response gives us a lot to ponder. The way we encroach on and take their habitats is inhumane. Then when they are near extinction our zoos try to build up their numbers again. You’ve given us a lot to think about.

  2. A moving post, Philo. I can equate some of your thoughts to the snakes nearby. I don’t like snakes, never have, never will. But I do know they are beneficial, and also a living thing. I get tired of so many just taking shovels to them. Just because. Luckily we have found people who can relocate the ones we find.

And hallelujah. I am happy to know your mother’s head is NOT on your wall. Great and unique interpretation to the challenge with a STRONG message.
