This is a picture of a WELL inside the compound.
The well seems to be covered completely with all sorts of materials and I guess either the well is dry or has not been used for a
very long time.
The fact that the supporting column, which houses the pulley in the middle, was used to dry the clothes, surprised me.
Whether it’s brilliant minds at work or a dirty habit of drying clothes above the well… and I don’t know what to call this behaviour.
“There’s a fine line between genius and insanity. I have erased this line.”
Thank you for your visit.
Take care, my friend.

I haven’t thought about Oscar Levant in years. He always had a way with words. My favorite quote of his: “Roses are red, violets are blue, I’m schizophrenic, and so am I.”

What a lovely quote and this particular quote I come across frequently.
Thank you John.

It has long been established that genius is a form of schizophrenia. I love the colorful clothes drying on top of the well, for whatever reason they end up there.

Thank you Dolly.
Is it not sad that most of the genius people suffer schizophrenia?

They don’t suffer, darling. Genius is a form of it, not the illness.
