Ducks speak only one word, quack, and communicate everything.”
Thank you for your visit.

I’d happily quack with this fellow if I met him on a walk

A cute quote, but this beautiful photo shows an elegant swan.

Thank you so much, Dolly.
I was told that the image I provided is a goose.
Swans are easily identified by the color patch in front of their eyes. This color can be red or black or yellow.
While ducks and geese don’t have this luxury color in the front part of their eyes and their eyes look simple
Please don’t hesitate to correct me.

You are right – it’s a goose! My mistake. I didn’t know about the color patch, though; thank you for educating me.

Come on Dolly.
No way I can educate you.
It’s the other way.
You are a walking encyclopedia.

This made me smile. There are some ducks on a lake in a park and their quacking carries clearly over to the street outside. They often sound as if they are laughing.

Be more like ducks indeed … and listen to the quiet person when they do speak. Sometimes it’s hard to hear their voices above the endless chatter

Agree.
There is too much of chatter everywhere!
