MARCH 19 IS CELEBRATED AS WORLD SLEEP DAY

The day aims to lessen the burden of sleep problems on society through the prevention and better management.

We all know that sleep is a natural state of rest for the mind and body.

Sleep soothes our body and mind simultaneously.

It’s said that normally it should take about 10 to 20 minutes for a person to catch sleep.

Are you a poor sleeper?

If it is so, then time for you to be aware of sleep hygiene.

  • Your room must be clean and you should not allow bright light to be nearby. (Sleep-inducing environment)
  • Don’t forget your physical activities in the daytime
  • Shut your TV & Telephone/mobile
  • Avoid eating a big mean 2 hours before sleep
  • Alcohol & caffeine…a strict no no
  • Most importantly stick to a sleep schedule
  • Make all efforts to manage your worries. (easier said than done)
  • Take a relaxing bath or shower before you go to sleep

Are you scared of sleep?

Why should you?

The truth is you can be away from all your worries.

“I love sleep because it is both pleasant and safe to use.

Pleasant because one is in the best possible company and safe because sleep is the consummate protection against the unseemliness that is the invariable consequence of being awake.

What you don’t know won’t hurt you”

Fran Lebowitz

Time for some laugh

“Whoever drinks beer, is quick to sleep;

Whoever sleeps long, does not sin;

Whoever does not sin, enters Heaven!

Thus, let us drink beer!”

Martin Luther

Thank you for your visit.

Take care, my friend.

Namaste 🙏🙏🙏
