Jewellery or Jewelry?
For time being I stick to Jewellery.
Jewellery denotes wealth and status
It’s also a form of artistry.
Jewellery design is the most ancient form of decoration.
Whether it’s simple design or designer wear…most people especially ladies are awed.
The Secret of ageing with your beauty intact
“Jewelry takes people’s minds off your wrinkles”
Sarah Phillips
Jewellery is said to express love and beauty.
Jewellery and gold are purchased as gifts to loved ones. (engagement rings, wedding rings, valentine’s day etc.)
I read that Americans spend more on jewellery than any other type of gift. Are they contributing to the pollution? The jewellery industry said to damage the environment astronomically. I am not an expert in these things.
It’s said jewellery is women’s best friend and also their weakness.
Jewellery has become an integral part of human adornment.
OK.
As humans, don’t we have intricate relationships with each other?
Sadly, we have different opinions about our lives and we proudly say we are independents.
“Every religious tradition on which we draw has a reverence for life.
We are a part of an intricate web of life. Every tradition on which we draw teaches that the ultimate expression of our spirituality is our action.
Deep spirituality leads to action in the world. A deep reverence for life, love of nature’s complex beauty and sense of intimate connection with the cosmos leads inevitably to a commitment to work for environmental and social justice”

A Question for you
Are you the type who never shows any interest in jewellery?
If so what is the reason?
Thank you for your visit.
Take care, my friend.

It’s diamonds who are a girl’s best friend, according to the song. However, I personally don’t like them; I prefer colorful semi-precious stones. This is gorgeous piece on the photo!

Your taste of semi precious stones is too good.
Diamonds appear gaudy and heavy.
Is it not so?
Thank you Dolly.

I somehow feel that diamonds are unlucky for me, as opposed to rubies, for instance, which is my birth stone.
You are very welcome, dear friend.

My wife is not much interested in jewelry. For her, designer suits are of more interest.
The one in your photo looks quite expensive.

I buy a lot of jewellery, but I mostly wear earrings. Funnily enough, I don’t wear it a lot though.

wow!
Lot of jewellery?
It’s a good habit. Keep it up.👍👍
But then it’s disappointing that you rarely wear them.
Agree. Ear rings looks more comfortable to wear and easy to change and weigh less compared to necklace.
Earrings also give that extra look.

I have a few special pieces of jewellery but I don’t wear much and I tend to prefer smaller, more discrete items. I also prefer coloured stones to diamonds – preferably sapphires or amethyst… but blue and purple are my favourite colours
