Gandhi Jayanthi

Mahatma-Gandhi

Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated as an event in India to mark the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi which falls on October 2.

UN celebrates this day as International Day of Non-violence.

He is famous for many of his quotes and I love the following quotes in particular.

“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony”

The three things are supposed to be in sync with each other, thinking, saying and doing and it’s the most difficult thing in this world. Gandhi says that is the only way one can experience happiness.

We are not willing to follow this because we are busy with our agenda.

And we are busy searching for that ‘happiness’ lifelong without any clue.

“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win”

Such a beautiful and meaningful quote!

You can use this quote in your life at any stage.

You are sure to be the winner.

The idea is just to stick to your principles.

“An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind”

Gandhi wants to emphasize the basic tenets of non-violence.

Taking revenge is a vicious cycle and this can destroy the global community.

From society’s point of view riots happening to hatred is the best example.

This quote is relevant even today.

Thank you for your visit.

Take care, my friend.

Namaste 🙏🙏🙏
