Do you like your friends irrespective of how they treat you?
Sadly most of us either ignore our friends or forget them.
On many, an occasion friendship breaks because of unnecessary misunderstanding and ego problems.
Friends may even hate each other.
Our friendship world is always strange.
We have become extremely selfish such that favours are extended on a mutual basis which includes our blogosphere world too!
Why ‘OLD’ is the best?
“Age appears to be best in four things;
Old wood is best to burn,
Old wine to drink,
Old friends to trust, and
Old authors to read” Francis Bacon
Are you still in touch with your childhood friends?
“You can through life and make a new friend every year -every month practically –
But there was never substitute for those friendships of childhood that survive into adult years.”
Alexander Mccall Smith
Thank you for your visit.

Your question, “Are you still in touch with your childhood friends?” is an arresting one. I wonder how many people are. I have kept in touch through Facebook and one visit several years ago with two friends and their families from Indiana. One of my “newer friends” who just turned 85 had several childhood friends come to her birthday party. They also meet on a regular basis. It helps to live in the same state. But it does enrich your life and give it stability to have childhood friends as a part of your regular complement of friends. Thanks for sharing the lovely photo of public art and the thoughts and quotes to go along with it. A lovely post. 🙂

You should never stay friends with people who treat you badly. though. Just like romantic relationships. you should never chase someone to stay being friends with you. Be friends with people who actually want to be your friend. Its interesting, since Facebook, I have reconnected with people I was friends with in Primary/Junior School. I don’t think I even have a single High School friend on FB anymore.

Agree with your points.
Why is that you don’t have contacts with your high school friends?

Beautiful photo. I treasure both old childhood and school friends, and new friends I’ve made throughout life. I think I’ve been blessed with good friends.

Friend are always a blessing.
I miss my childhood friends since I lost touch long long ago.
My present friendship in real world is not too convincing.
Thank you Dolly.
