Past

Past

We are always busy

Why?

Because we love to dwell in our past all the time.

Because of this, we constantly blame ourselves or others.

Hatred becomes part of your routine.

You know that this is a bad habit and can even be toxic.

And you may hesitate to move forwards.

My friend, dwelling in the past is simply reading your chapter again and again and wishing that the end could have changed for the better.

What is your routine?

I hope you don’t mind if I am frank.

Your day is never complete without regretting your past.

I also add that you spend time regretting the past while at the same time stressing over the future!

In the bargain, your ‘present’ is lost.

Losing is winning!

Unbelievable!

“That’s what learning is, after all;

Not whether we lose the game, but how we lose and how we’ve changed because of it, and what we take away from it that we never had before, to apply to other games. Losing, in a curious way is winning”

Richard Bach

How true it is!

What happens if you dwell in the past?

Dwelling in the past makes you anxious.

You are disturbed emotionally.

Your concentration is grossly reduced.

You are subjected to this ‘unwanted’ mental torture.

What one can do?

My friend, despite adversity, be strong mentally and keep going.

Just let go.

You will gain clarity.

Don’t say things are easier said than done.

The past is a place of learning, not a place of living”
