Does the walker choose the path or the path the walker?-Garth Nix

Path

“No one saves us but ourselves.

No one can and no one may.

We ourselves must walk the path.”

Gautama Buddha

The title is a tricky question.

I think the path is there waiting for someone to come by and thus it feels happy to have a company. The traveller is not sure where the path leads and can experience plenty of surprises or shocks.

One can even argue that we choose our path (as Buddha’s Quote above), and walks along to see if our dreams become a reality.

Adding to the confusion there is another saying…whether we choose this life or the life has chosen us!

I doubt whether one can get a convincing answer.

And can be a never-ending discussion as to which comes first.

Thank you for your visit.

Take care, my friend.

Namaste 🙏🙏🙏
