BUSY BEE

web-1-4

“Remain as busy as a bee so that you find no time in discussing the flaw of others. Let your action speak the truth” Swapnam

Why this photo?

Reason-resembling a spinning top in action… a rare visual treat!

I have been taking photographs of honey bees, hoverflies etc. for quite some time.

One thing I find difficult was photographing the bee when it’s in flight mode.

I always wished to have a good shot of both the ‘wings’ Viewed from above at the same time with the wings blurred nicely giving a fast-moving ‘spin top’  appearance.

Fortunately, I was successful.

Did you get an opportunity to get a click like this?

I am curious to know.

WHAT A TREAT!

“Travel makes one modest. You see what a tiny place you occupy in the world” unknown

Why this photo?

Reason- to see Northern Lights one must be gifted

My friend believe me when I say this.

The most difficult job for a photographer in this world is to capture the Northern Lights.

It’s notoriously tricky.

And you must be lucky too!

You must have tons of patience!

So many factors are involved in getting a good click of Aurora Borealis.

After spending 3 gruelling nights in Alaska, not sure because of the clouds….. suddenly Almighty listened to us and gave a bigggggg…. treat!

This experience is unforgettable!

An amazing experience and one is never tired of watching this Cosmic Dance!

Did you experience the Northern Lights?

“Life is not a discrete phenomenon, It’s part of an intelligent Cosmic field. It’s a Cosmic Dance.”  Amit Ray

“Old age is far more than white hair, wrinkles, the feeling that it’s too late, and the game is finished, that the stage belongs to the rising generations.

The true evil is not the weakening of the body, but the indifference of the soul”

Andre Maurois

Why this photo?

Reason-Old age helplessness

I remember this particular expression all the time.

This click reminds me of the plight of senior citizens all over the world.

Many old people look sad and fragile and upset.

They are broken.

In society in general, elderly people are neglected or exploited financially.

Many are abused and even beaten.

Are you aware of Senicide?

It’s happening in at least 8 countries.

You will be shocked after going through the link.

Senicide is the killing of the elderly or their abandonment to death. Why so?

Family members feel that they are a burden financially.

This gentleman in the above photos was sad.

Is he aware of Senicide?

I don’t know.

Sadness can result from various reasons but experiencing sorrow is said to be more intense.

Thank you for your visit.

Take care, my friend.

Namaste 🙏🙏🙏

  1. My heart felt every inch of the last photo even before I read the description.
I see it everyday here in Florida. It’s where the elderly are left by their overworked or insensitive children. It’s awful. You captured his pain perfectly. I can see why its a favorite.
The northern lights is on my burket list. In the meantime, I loved seeing your capture. I would imagine it is very difficult to capture but the memories and feelings you had at the time will linger. Great choice.
WOW WOW WOW … on the bee photograph, Milo. Enough said …

  2. Oh my Philo, amazing images. I absolutely relate to the senior. I live in a senior community and it actually keeps us young and feeling vital. There’s so much to do. Your “Flight of the Bumble Bee” is great, showing wings in motion. Well done.
