We all love visiting new places, learning about cultures, and traditions and having fun at the same time.
But how many truly enjoy the trip because of so many pressing problems back home, that they keep in their subconscious mind.
Sadly majority are unable to ignore their worries despite being on a pleasure trip especially with family.
They forget the value of ‘present’.
Physically they are present but mentally they are absent.
Why it is so?
“The pleasure we derive from journeys is perhaps dependent more on the mindset with which we travel than on the destination we travel to”
Alain de Botton

We looked up the word “sojourn” last night in a chat with our son. Both the photo and the quote fit with that.
