Do you love street photography?
If so do you feel it’s intimidating? Or
You are at ease with street photography.
Street photography is an interesting genre among the various branches of photography.
One can watch so many things happening simultaneously
I can say street photography almost matches the incidents in wedding photography.
Funny things to scary things, surprising things, cool things to memorable things can happen during street photography.
Even strange coincidences.
All that is required is you must be trigger-happy to shoot!
And fast shutter speed helps a lot in getting sharp images.
What do you see in the image below?
Nothing great. (bear with the resolution since it’s a mobile click)
But if you notice a bit deeper, you appreciate that there is something common.
And it’s the colour.
You observe that the red colour is dominating.
The Zomato gentleman with the red shirt and the two-wheeler being red and also the food delivery box.
Not just that, there is also a guy with a red coloured cap, wearing red colour tinged shirt along with his carry bag having some red emblem.
And some red coloured wall posters between the two shops.
Now coming to our lives…
Ladies love matching outfits for themselves.
What do the ladies want men to wear?
In some countries wearing matching outfits with your partner is a way of expressing love and this has become fashionable now.
In India horoscope matching of a man and woman before marriage is popular and the principle is based on faith.
What about ‘Matching’ in one’s life?
My friend, life is life.
Save your energy instead of arguing with your life.
“Life is so constructed,
that the event does not,
cannot,
will not,
match the expectation”
Charlotte Bronte
What is the permanent solution?
Just sync with Universe.
“The goal of life is to make your heartbeat match the beat of the universe, to match your nature with nature”
Joseph Campbell
Can you answer?
Do soulmates match with each other?
Thank you for your visit.
Take care, my friend.
Namaste 🙏🙏🙏

I really need to try more street photography. I guess I feel like I am invading people’s privacy. 🙂

Thank you John.
It is worth entering the field.
Don’t feel that we are invading the privacy.
It’s ok to click in public places.
Of course we are going to delete the image if the other person feels his/ her privacy is invaded.
Many times I noticed strangers love if we just wave our hands when they are conscious of our clicking.
In fact the Iphone making the things much easier in street photography.
One can also be discrete because of the size of Iphone.
I try to join the local photography group which conducts fortnightly photowalk in our locality.
I have no idea of your place but here people are friendly and post readily.
And I guess the same in your place too.

I’ve never been able to do decent street photography. It jsut feels chaotic to me. And on your soul mates question, I feel they jsut fit well with each other like a nut and bolt 😂

I like the write-up! And I share a lot of sentiments about street photography. I’ve been doing it for quite a while now, but to be honest it still intimidates me. Nothing is more fulfilling than capturing a moment in a frame that might never happen again. Cheers!

Thank you so much Sher for your thoughts.
Agree. In Certain situations street photography can become nasty and many are scared because of this.
I am glad that you enjoy street photography.
